Breakfast & transport location are good. Room should be renovated. NO cooling aircon. Window cannot be closed probably Looking good outside but not inside the room. For safety, elevator has to be maintained properly.

Very close to the railway station. The room is big and clean with nice service.

Paul was kind to accept booking at last minute as my flight got delayed and arrived into FCO at 20:00 hrs and I made online booking at 23:00 hrs. This is my 2nd time booking this room since it is situated at a very convenient location, 5mins walking from termini station. Paula and her father was very polite and kind, speaks good English and I absolutely love their warm hospitality. Was here in February and booked again in March. Strategically located, cafes, restaurants are all just reachable on foot. If I have any international flight out frm home and using Rome as my base to travel around other EU regions I will definitely book at Stromboli for my few nights stay again. It is honestly value for money. Housekeeping always did a good job, spotlessly clean and room is spacious enough for me. Enjoyed all my stay here.

the shower was fixed to the wall. everything else was great.

A/C did not work all night. Requested fan but all out. Since I had read in reviews about A/C problems, i can only say that management is not serious about fixing it. My only advice to budget minded travelers is to avoid travel to italy in hot days.

The wall could do with a clean or paint ... Very old ! but sought of clean !!! especially where it counts !

Perfect location. The Filipino receptionists are friendly and helpful. While the rooms are regularly cleaned, they need updating. They probably need some overhaul: busted bulbs, a fridge that has seen better days, toilet exhaust that grumbles loudly, TV shows that only Italians would understand, and a toilet ceiling that is quite unsettling.

The hotel itself located just next to the central station (termini) so you won't walk much to reach. Staff were very polite and nice. The only negative point i can mention here is about the bathroom.. I think they need maintenance because they are really old.

Yes, it was cheap, clean and convenient hotel, very near to the Roma Termini railway station and bus station. Note the YOBUS TOUR is exactly front of the hotel.

Everything was great, the staff are amazing, the food was good. It's perfectly located close to central station. But it was 32 degrees and the room felt like it was 40 degrees. We put on the "aircon" and it was more hot. When we asked reception, they apologized and said the owner only puts the aircon on at the beginning of July. We didn't have a goods night rest the entire time. For 2 nights we didn't sleep at all.

Pros: - I'm lucky to have a clean and quiet room. Plus points here. - perfect location to the terminal and tourist areas. Cons: - i wrote to them via email and chat to request for early check in if possible, as i would arrive 2h prior to checkin time. No responses on both ends. Even a rejection response would be appreciated. - The room is quite dated. - Lift only fits 1 person with baggage, and if inconsiderate people forget to close the lift doors after themselves, they end up stalling the lift, and you have to climb the stairs.

Hotel is in a great location, near the Train station which means near the centre and walking distance from most of Romes iconic locations. Hotel is tired and basic but the bed was comfortable and the en suite had a great shower. The price reflect this but if met all our needs for our stay.

Nothing good about this hotel other than it’s kind of close to Roma Termini. The room is a hot box and the bed feels like it was made out of cardboard. Bugs in the room. No toilet seat. No shower curtain so you will flood the bathroom if you use it.

it was a great place to stay since the location is very accesible from the train station and easy access to different tourist destionations. The receptionist who happens to be a Filipino is also very friendöy and accomodating. Would definetely stay on the same Hotel whenever i visit Rome again.
