Very cozy rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, especially Kristina on reception. Room was supervised super well, very clean, beyond the standard expectation.. Cleaning staff is very attentive. Thank you for assisting us with late check out, and helping us enjoy Rome again.

The room is really nice. The breakfast is also good. The location is great. It is right next to the moat in Rome. You can stroll along the street when it is quiet at night. It feels like a Roman holiday.

Overpriced 460 EURO / night. Simple rooms, no curtesy water bottles, small one-time use shower gels. Sub-par breakfast room with little to choose from and the quality of served food was bad, super dry bread, cheese without taste, fruit cocktail with un-fresh taste, orange juice that tasted anything but fresh oranges. Boring "lounge" with no atmosphere at all. All in all avoid this hotel if You can!

This trip was our honneymoon. Our honneymoon was delayed due to a family death shortly after the wedding. I believe in trip advisor reviews and I will give a very accurate review so whomever books here at this hotel does not face disappointment. Room Booked directly with hotel thought that would ensure good service, I was mistaken. Booked superior room all superior rooms are on the end of the building and closest to the road I was not told this, asked to move was moved to a smaller than paid for room which was quieter no compensation. I wouldn't mind so much I knew hotel was near a road I expected some noise but not that level of noise continuously. I said it's impossible to sleep was told its quieter at night when traffic dies down, I can honestly say it gets quieter around 3am only sound proofing on Windows is not good. I said it's a bit warm it's 23 degrees in room I cannot get air conditioning on, I was met with 2 responses one was open the window I said it's so noisy how can we they just shrugged shoulders I said why is air con not working I was greated with its winter there is no air conditioning until summer end of story. I have many stories like this but was greated with an attitude of accept it or leave, maybe its the Italian way who knows. Extractor in bathroom not working so bathroom steams up covered in black mould and you cannot see mirror maintenance guy came up and shrugged his shoulders and said open window, he meant in the room as there was not one in the bathroom which I would have happily opened. I emailed hotel explained we were on honneymoon and wanted a quiet room also wanted to pay for and arrange for flowers and fruit in the room this was met initially with non interest then they said they would arrange for 60 euros. We arrived to the smallest flowers prosecco I paid for but didn't order and sliced fruit on a plate I said I wanted a bigger flowers and didn't order prosecco and a basket of fruit is not sliced fruit it has been a really hard time since the wedding and when we arrived to all this it honestly broke me inside. I was met with the hotel with an attitude of we can't refund yr money for prosecco and in Italy basket of fruit is sliced fruit on a plate covered in clingfilm. I have checked with other hotels since being here and relatives of ours in viareggio who work in the hotel industry they have said this is nonsense. I made a complaint I was given more prosecco and fruit from the canteen in a glass bowl. I have attached pictures the review I give must be at all times 100 percent accurate it's important to my character I hate mis truths. Bed So this is subjective to the user so I cannot complain. For info only they are very hard I did ask for mattress topper I was given duvet I have folded up on my side to try and help. Bed covering doesnt cover bed they put 2 singles together and stretch covers across no comment as it does not affect me but its not a double bed. Storage 8 hangers no drawers we have kept

Great central location. Clean and comfortable with little to no amenities. We initially found the desk staff unhelpful and resentful of doing his job. Later staff members were much more helpful and friendly

We stayed here for 5 nights back in May… it’s a cute little hotel with small dated rooms and murals on the walls. The continental breakfast restaurant is small… with a few tables & a small selection. Hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops, grocery store, atm, etc.

The hotel is extremely nice, the rooms are adequate and fairly elegant, the service is great, breakfast, outstanding, centrally located. The only issue we had is that in spite of having the “do not disturb sign” on the door outside our room, a maintenance man came in to repair something and left a mess in the bathroom, piling up the towels that he used to clean some of the items and place them in the boudoir. I complained to the front desk receptionist, and she sent Mr. Doriano Bandescu-the maintenance man who was extremely professional, pleasant, efficient, and courteous. He did a great job, cleaning up the mess. Thank you.

Our first trip to Italy began with 3 nights at the Donna Laura Palace, at the beginning of a guided tour. Thus, the hotel was selected for us, but we really enjoyed our stay. It is a sparkling clean hotel with pleasant public spaces and very nice rooms -- ours had a balcony looking out the front of the house. The breakfast was fantastic -- so many choices of pastries, fruits, cheeses, meats, beverages ... The staff was very friendly and helpful -- one gave us perfect directions to the nearest metro station so we could hop on a train to the Colosseum. Other staff called taxis for us, and let us know when theywere arriving. It was a perfect start to an amazing trip through the country and beyond.

This is not a four star establishment. The AC was ‘broken’, apparently due to five blackouts in the area the night before, which must happen a lot going by the other reviews. We had to attempt to sleep with the balcony door and window open which was noisy. Breakfast was distinctly average.

We have booked this place from May 5th to the 8th, when we got there, the place looks beautiful, but as soon as we walked inside the room, we noticed the room a little warm, I called the front desk and I was told that the AC was central for the whole hotel and that it was broken, when I tried to say something I was told to hold the line, and somebody else picked up the call, and told me that the AC only work between 3pm and 11pm because it was not the summer season yet, I said well is past 3 o’clock and still is not on. They sent a maintain email to the room, he placed the AC at 76 Fahrenheit and told me to wait 5 minutes for it to start working, after that the fan started running, but it was not cold, just fan. The room was at 80 degrees and never cool down to 76, stuck at 78. We were tired and managed to take a nap, and because we had ticket to the Vatican the next day early, we decided to go to bed around 10 pm that night, the AC never worked, the room never cool down, not even to 76, we were sweating all night, tried opening the door and window, cause outside was cooler, but the nightclub across the street and the traffic noise didn’t help….. we had a hell of a night, we couldn’t rest at all. Next day went to Vatican tour, came back and told front desk we were leaving if AC problem not fix, I was told sorry, you owe us 12 euros for city tourist tax. And they kept the other 2 nights they charged us for it and we never use . Technically this place stole from us. So be aware, this place will lie to you and keep your money for services not provided.

Our Italian host recommended this hotel and I must say it was a wonderful. Everyone was super kind and accommodating. Make sure you get a room with a balcony, you'll love it! I will definitely be back! The breakfast is amazing as it the bar and restaurant.

I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip. The room was very large with a fantastically comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Excellent WiFi. All of the staff were incredibly polite and accommodating. A good selection at breakfast and I thoroughly enjoyed the lunches. Special thanks to Veronica at the bar who introduced me to the wonderful Campari!
