Hotel Del Corso

The picture and the room totally does not match. No hot water and we need to change to a smaller room Location is great. Breakfast was ok.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel del Corso. The reception staff were friendly and took us to our room. We also left our bags at reception on our last day so we could explore without them. Only a few minor problems like our shower taking a long time to drain and not having a socket on one side of the bed. Apart from this the hotel was enjoyable and I would recommend it. The location is also on one of the main shopping streets and in a walking distance of the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain.

A really lovely little hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had 3 rooms that were all clean, comfortable and just what we needed. Is situated on a nice shopping street near some good restaurants and bars and a short walk to several sights. Would stay again if in Rome.

Stayed here last summer and would highly recommend this hotel. Location was perfect and close to everything. Safe to walk around at night as this hotel is on main street. Woke up one afternoon nap to a beautiful opera music from the street. This hotel truly is amazing and don’t have 1 bad thing to say about it!

Having booked our stay through a travel agent we were very concerned and thought of changing the booking because of the amount of negative reviews. I am glad to say we didn't and found all of the negative reviews unfounded and very unfair Before coming we knew we were in the Annex… while the room was slightly small three adults stayed there no problem … The room was clean and was serviced every day with clean towels etc … There was all the amenities in-the room shower (over bath) hair dryer air conditioning and fridge and we could make coffee in a small shared ( and very clean) social area … we were lucky to have a small balcony over looking Via Del Corso … where there a huge variety of shopping with all the top brands available. There is a bit of street noise from the entertainers but it is the heart of the a major European city so a bit of noise is to expected … The street outside is pedestrianised so no car noises and about 10 minute walk to the Spanish steps maybe 15 to the Trevi Fountain and the same to the Pantheon 30 minute walk to the Coliseum and only €9 in a taxi to the Vatican There are an endless number of street side restaurants within minutes of the front door The staff were all very friendly and helpful from when we arrived. I have no problem recommending a stay here and would have no concern about coming back in future

Great location, bed was fairly comfortable and somewhat friendly staff but that's about it. You are on a very busy thoroughfare being the Via del Corso and its very noisy at night so bring your ear plugs. I have NEVER been in a room where there is a tub with a handheld shower and NO shower curtain so it was a constant struggle to keep water off the floor. Breakfast was good yet lone female during April 24 was openly unfriendly and condescending. I read all the reviews before we booked and having done so I don't get the people who gave 4 or 5-star ratings with comments praising this place, maybe they were just drunk on Italian wine.
