Excellent. Location is so good. And room is wide. Lovely breakfast.

Very good experience for 4 nights. Reception were helpful all staff were. Lovely and clean. Breakfast included there was something for everyone. Thankyou for giving us a room with a bath. It was blissful. We will be back again hopefully next year

I had read the reviews and was slightly worried. This was a treat for my hubby’s 60th birthday. Luxury is not what it is. Room was nice but nothing special and the shower room was okay apart from the shower itself. Grim is the word I would use. The coffee machine clearly had not been cleaned as my first cup of tea had the taste of coffee. We didn’t bother using it again. Our room was on the 3rd floor at the front so sleeping wasn’t easy. Lots of noise from the street below. Breakfast…..well what can I say. If you like fatty bacon, hot dogs and powdered scramble eggs this place is for you. We had the fresh fruit with yoghurt, toast and the meats and cheeses. It got boring after the 2nd day. I didn’t really research this enough…there’s no bar and no outside space. We spent our evenings sitting outside the bar down the road people watching. All the staff we came across were so lovely. The towels were changed each day and the room cleaned. Would I stay again? Probably not. I chose this as it was near so many of the main places to visit so yes, it was very busy outside. Sounds like I’m being very negative but this is my honest review. I think if they took away the ‘luxury’ then we wouldn’t be so disappointed.

Such a lovely hotel with such nice, helpful and wonderful staff. Nothing was a hassle and they went out of their way to help with anything you needed. Hotel nice and central and was clean and quiet. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Would highly reccomend.
