Hotel San Valentino Reviews

The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed one night and booked last minute. They held our luggage in the morning while we explored the area and went for breakfast. The bed was comfortable, spacious and clean and the room is spacious with high ceilings. There is a bar and restaurant a minutes walk away that is reasonably priced. We got a bottle of Prosecco for €20. There is also 2 very popular bakery’s a 5 minute walk away. Great for breakfast, we spent around €5 per person. It cost €14 to get a taxi to centre and 15 mins during Saturday morning traffic (10am}. If you’ve traveled around Asia the rooms will seem very poor. I get the aesthetic is partly to keep with “Old Rome” but there were basics that didn’t look maintained such as pipe from toilet fixture leaking and the shower basin not draining. There is also only 2 plug sockets in the room, 1 by the bed the other by the radiator. The walls are very thin so bring ear plugs as you’ll hear peoples alarms go off and bin collection in the morning. If you’re traveling on a budget I think it’s a nice stay you’ll just have to factor in travel costs to and from the centre or rent a scooter.

Location was good. Although the room wasn’t like the introduced photos, we satisfied our stay there.

The location of hotel is perfect and you can get anything there, snacks food and amenities. It's a perfect location for someone who wants to explore Rome by foot.

Hotel with reasonable and good service

The room is small but well-equipped, except that the water flow from the shower head is a bit poor, but everything else is great!

There was no hot water in the hotel, so we couldn't take a shower for two days, and the room hygiene was also very bad. This hotel ruined our entire trip

Suitable for Chinese people, there are many Chinese people

Room 402 average opaque window on the side not pleasant

Central structure. Staff (not all) not very courteous. Poor cleaning!
