We stayed here recently for three nights, and had a wonderful time. It is important to get your head around the fact that this is not a hotel, but a serviced room, with a breakfast thrown in. You are given details on how to access the apartments, which is pretty straight forward, and then you are pretty much left to your own devices. We got the train from the airport to the termini (14euro) and then the metro to Baberini, which is then a 10- 15 minute walk to the apartment. The apartments are tucked away off the main road, and so it took us a few minutes to find where we were meant to be heading, but we got there in the end ( I recommend Google maps) We had a queen room, and it was a decent size, very clean and comfortable. There is a nice bathroom, with a walk in shower, although the shower isn’t very powerful. You order your breakfast via WhatsApp the day before, and this is delivered to your room at the your requested time. The ladies who prepare the breakfast and clean your room are warm and friendly, and happy to help, and the breakfast is very good. The location of this place is superb. We managed to see all of the sights - Colosseum, Spanish Steps, Vatican, Trevi etc.. and we walked everywhere - although we slept well each night ( we are in our early 60’s) There is a lovely Irish bar just 50m from the apartments which we used after our long day to grab a beer, rest our feet, and watch the world go by. There are many bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk, but these start to fill up by around 8pm. If you want guided tours of the key sights, I would recommend booking them in advance. We booked a couple through trip advisor and they were very good. Finally, prior to arrival, you will be sent a message giving you codes to access the apartments. I strongly recommend that you write these down, as we very nearly had a disaster when my phone battery died, and we couldn’t access the codes or call anyone. Thankfully, the staff at the Irish bar were able to provide me with a charger! We did three nights, and I think this was sufficient to achieve what we wanted, and I think our feet were very grateful too! I would most definitely recommend these delightful rooms, and if ever we decide to return to Rome, we will certainly stay here again.
Pantheon Caesar Relais

Pantheon
My wife and I stayed here for a couple of days in Rome. We had a little problem at first arriving late at night from LA. We couldn't find the entrance to the hotel at first but after a little investigation we were able to find it. After following late check in instruction email we were able to get inside. Finding the elevator took a little more investigating but we found it! Yes there is an elevator! Room was spacious for the 2 of us (we got the Jr Suite). Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Walls were a bit thin though. What I really liked was the price and location. It was the center of all the tourist destinations 10-15 minute walk to most attractions.
Pantheon Inn

Pantheon
This is an awesome inn, the rooms are beautiful, we had one with a balcony over the inner courtyard. There is a charming rooftop deck, beautifully lit up in the evening. The breakfast was outstanding- excellent variety from sweet to savoury and the service was excellent. The location is steps away from the Pantheon and within walking distance of all the classic sites in Rome.
Hotel le Clarisse Al Pantheon
4.2/5101 Reviews
Pantheon
I rarely write reviews, but my recent stay at Hotel Le Clarisse al Pantheon was so unpleasant that I feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I hope my feedback helps others avoid a similarly disappointing experience. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the hotel was abysmal. Upon arrival, I was dismayed to find hairs on the bed, which is completely unacceptable. The washroom was equally troubling—clearly not cleaned properly, as it started emitting a foul odor at random times throughout the day. This unpleasant smell seemed to originate from the washroom, and it made our stay quite uncomfortable. On a more positive note, I must commend Sara, the concierge, who was exceptional. Her service was genuinely outstanding and a bright spot in an otherwise bleak stay. However, the male concierge was a different story. His suggestion to use his personal cologne to mask the awful smell was not only ineffective but also quite inappropriate and unhelpful. Adding to the poor experience, the hotel cleaners solicited money on the side, which felt both unprofessional and disheartening. This kind of behavior certainly did not contribute to a positive impression. The breakfast served was another disappointment. It was far from enjoyable, lacking both quality and variety. I was truly disappointed with the options available, and it was clear that more attention needed to be paid to this aspect of the service. Finally, the overall ambiance of the hotel was unsettling. The entire property feels outdated and in desperate need of renovation. The creepiness of the place only added to the discomfort of our stay. In summary, while Sara provided excellent service, the numerous issues with cleanliness, breakfast, and the overall state of the hotel overshadowed any positive aspects. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the experience for future guests.
