Romoli Hotel

Came here on an escorted tour. The hotel is located in a safe, residential area and about a 15min walk to the Metro. There are closer buses. There are restaurants in the area - although they have a small food menu in the rooftop bar, which is lovely. An excellent breakfast is served also on the roof terrace and the staff are, without exception, particularly friendly and helpful, even to hordes of Brits!

It was pretty good stay overall. It was a decent sized standard sized room. The bathroom was a really good size as well. What impressed me the most was how immaculately clean it was from the minute I checked in thru the duration of the stay. They cleaned the room daily and left a bottle of water when I first checked in which was nice. The staff is nice and friendly for the most part. The breakfast was also pretty good in my opinion. It’s quite varied and a great selection. As far as location, it’s not terrible but not great. It’s a 13 min walk to the metro. However there is a bus around the corner about 2 blocks where it takes 20-30 min into center of town with all major sites. If you’re looking for a stay away from the tourist sites and peaceful then this place is perfect. There are some restaurants and bars in the area that are good. The only thing I was disappointed in was with an issue I was having with a restaurant reservation. I asked the staff to see if they could contact the restaurant to double check on a reservation I made prior. The date was not available on the email I sent. It seemed like the staff was bothered by the request. Just for the record I normally handle these issues myself but it would be a costly call with my phone plan. And I figured since on the website they do state that they help with these types of things I didn’t think it was such a bothersome request. But that was the feeling I was getting back from them. Also I tried making the call from the room but they don’t allow any local calls. Other than that I would not let that minor issue overshadow my stay. I enjoyed the hotel overall.

The location of the hotel is a short distance from the city center, but it is quite convenient to take a bus. The hotel is very clean and the complimentary buffet breakfast is superb.

The structure is located very close to the Basilica of San Giovanni. The manager is a very helpful and professional person, SUPER clean rooms with the necessary comforts, equally helpful staff, normal breakfast, but above all for being in the center of Rome you can't hear any noises at night and you sleep divinely. I recommend it to both individuals and families.

Location: 👍🏻Convenient, 5 minutes to the subway station; pay attention to the location of the entrance (see picture) the house number is small and easy to miss Service: OK, administrative management needs to be improved, especially the documents are a bit confusing, and communication with colleagues is insufficient Cleanliness: 👍🏻Clean management Also, not even the basic boxed tissues are provided
Relais la Torretta

Appio Latino
Set in a bustling suburb of Rome with very few other tourists around, the Relais is a short hop on the Metro from the major sites. Leisurely 10 minute stroll to Ponte Lungo Metro stop from the Relais. Rooms are comfortable, simple and nicely decorated. Air Con works well in each room. Only 4-5 rooms in total on one floor set around the small breakfast area. Warm welcome from the owner. Limited English. Don't expect a slap up breakfast. It is a simple, fresh and quick start to the day. Great restuarants and bars around if you go exploring and the market at the end of the road was open every day which was nice to browse before heading out. Would definitely book again for the future. It's not far from the rail line so there is a bit o fnoise from trains but it wasn't an issue.
