Absolutely fantastic stay! 10/10 would recommend. The jacuzzi (which everyone has access to) has a fantastic view.

Great stay, very high quality room with superb service. We were on island on business but would have been equally happy if here on leisure. Friendly attentive staff, good food and the fire place in the room was a lovely touch. Easy to get to and from the airport

My wife and I stayed for four nights in the Villa. What an unmatched experience. Check-in was very easy and we arrived early from a red-eye flight and given our room was available they allowed us to access our room early and get settled in and have breakfast. The breakfast is delicious and when weather is nice you can take it outside for the views. The room was beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean. The staff was amazing, incredibly helpful and put together a detailed and clear itinerary for all our little day trip that was customized for whatever we wanted to do. They set up dinner reservations and other activities. The whole experience was one of the better hotel stays we have had.

My wife and I spent 3 nights here after a week in Porto and it was a perfect ending to our Portugal trip. The facility is fantastic and the staff is friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, RIGHT on the water overlooking the Atlantic. We had the balcony room just above the infinity pool. Breakfast is terrific and plentiful and they even have a fresh “orange juice of the day”. We also had dinner in the outdoor cabana. My wife had the barracuda (catch of the day) and said it was just about the best fish she’s ever had. A special shout out to Sara (front desk/concierge). She was tremendous. She not only printed out a list of sites to visit in our rental car, but she even created a Google Maps route for us in a smart phone she lent us during our stay. She also used to the phone to communicate restaurant reservations and shopping destinations. Sara is a gem! We can’t say enough about our stay at White.

We were so pleased with our stay at White. The staff are kind, thoughtful, and always willing to help. The location is stunning. The setting is quiet & intimate with only a few rooms, and our suite was bright, clean, and comfortable with a lovely ocean view. We loved our morning breakfasts and the evening tea service. We were so pleased with our stay at White. The staff & service are kind, thoughtful, and overall exceptional. The location is stunning—overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. From the street this hotel doesn’t look like much, but once you enter the place is stunning. The deck overlooks the ocean below and has chairs, sitting areas, an infinity pool and a shaded cabana. The views are spectacular! The breakfasts are really good. Service is first rate and extremely helpful (especially João and Sara). Our room was a junior suite which is the smallest type of room in the hotel, but is was big enough. There was a small kitchenette which we never used. There were not enough drawers in the closet to stash our clothes, but had the kitchenette not been there we would have had plenty. This place is a little remote but the front desk can arrange cabs to restaurants and Ponta Delgada.

This is an unbelievable hotel! We stayed for three nights and it exceeded our wildest expectations. The property is stunning and the views are unmatched. We stayed in the Villa and having a private hot tub was amazing. The staff were so attentive and kind. It was truly a home away from home!
