Soweit gut, jedoch sind die Zimmer äußerst hellhörig. Bis tief in die Nacht hörte ich den Fernseher aus dem Nachbarzimmer und als morgens die ersten in den umliegenden Zimmer aufstanden, war es mit dem Schlaf vorbei. Unüblich für Motel One, daher werde ich dieses spezielle Haus künftig meiden.

Für einen Business Trip wie immer ok. Hotel ist frisch renoviert, leider nun im maritimen Stil. Dies ist allerdings Geschmacksache. Motel One ist längst nicht mehr der BIG Player in Ihrem Segment, allerdings scheint das Management dies noch nicht zu realisieren. Mitarbeiter am FO sollten besser geschult werden in Kompetenz & Gastfreundschaft. Preise an der Bar für das was geboten wird viel zu hoch. Weinkühler bei Flaschenwein wird ebenfalls überbewertet :( …

L'hôtel est très bien placé, pas trop loin de la gare et tout près du centre piétonnier, à la lisière d'un parc. La décoration est contemporaine douce, très réussie. Le hall d'accueil/salon est vaste, très clair, confortable, avec un extérieur pour les beaux jours. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, l'accueil agréable.

Das Hotel hat das Konzept low budget zu sein. Das merkt man an der Größe der Zimmer. Das wussten wir und das ist auch völlig in Ordnung (Preis/Leistung). Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber (Hotel wurde vor drei Monaten refreshed). Das Frühstück ist im Preis/Leistungsverhältnis überdurchschnittlich; es gibt alles, was man braucht in sehr guter Qualität, es wird ständig nachgelegt und das Personal am Frühstück ist sehr freundlich. Damit komme ich zum absolut negativen Punkt. Das Personal an der Rezeption (+Bar) grüßt gar nicht. Weder bei Betreten des Hotels, noch beim Vorbeigehen, noch beim Verlassen des Hotels. Beim Einchecken musste ich mich bemerkbar machen, um von der Dame, die einen Meter vor mir stand, war genommen zu werden. Ich habe dann immer deutlich gegrüßt und dieser Gruß wurde dann manchmal erwidert.

During a recent stay I had a health issue and called the front desk and spoke to one of the staff. She (sadly, I forget her name but it had an eastern European ring to it) was absolutely superb; she called an ambulance and the paramedics knocked on my room door only 20 minutes later. They let themselves in (as I was immobile) and took me to hospital. While I was in the A&E department I called again and the same lady made sure that room service would collect my belongings from the room and take them down to the front desk, where I later, after being released from hospital, was able to pick them up. The MotelOne staff deserve full marks for making sure a very difficult day did not turn out to be a really horrible one. My sincere thanks!
