A bit outside of Rotorua with nothing but a small convenience store nearby is what made me rate the place as only a 3 out of 5. No ATM or restaurants nearby makes it a bit of a hassle. If you don't mind taking the car its just a few minutes to the city and it's close enough to the tourist attractions.
Rooms are clean and so are all the towels and sheets.
Staff was helpful when asked upon.
The place has a bar, restaurant, sauna, pool and gym so everything one might want.

We travelled from Wellington to celebrate in Rotorua my partners 40th birthday. The accommadation was beautiful. The staff were amazing and kind. Will 100% be back with my family.

The environment is beautiful. There is a lake behind the lake view room, but the location is on the other side of the lake. It takes 15 minutes to drive to the city center. The hotel is a bit old, especially the bathroom exhaust vents will make strange noises. It's better to go out for the buffet breakfast. It's not worth 25.
