Residence Inn Austin Round Rock/Dell Way

Good size room with a fireplace we couldn't figure out. The decor had a dated style but it's ok not bad but not great. The parking lot is very dark at night and feels a little sketchy but it's not bad.

I was put off by reviews saying the facility needs updating, but it was the perfect home away from home. Not new, but very comfortable, clean, and a wonderful deal. The staff was friendly and extremely attentive, literally from the moment I walked in the door. They went above and beyond -- everything from worrying about my late arrival to finding a cherished earring that had fallen under the couch. Very reasonable rates for a suite that was bigger than some apartments I've lived in. Kitchen was modern and fully stocked. Parking plentiful. There were kids playing on the basketball court and in the pool. If there was ever a problem, such as a burnt-out light bulb, it was taken care of immediately. I will definitely stay again; it was a wonderful place to stay for my eight days in the Austin area.

One of the worst / most disgusting hotels I have ever stayed at with management unwilling to resolve issues. I spent two nights at the hotel and slept on top of towels on the bed because everything was so gross. There were disgusting stains on the curtains, floor, and couch cushions. Bugs ran across the floor in the bathroom. The AC barely worked and made the air smell burnt. We tried to touch as few things in the room as possible. Management did not acknowledge any problems until I submitted an official complaint with Marriott, at which point they said there were no bugs, brushed my other issues under the rug, and even went as far as to accuse me of making up the complaints to get a refund. A truly horrific experience. Will never be back.

Lobby and elevators smell like bug spray and bleach. All lights are white florescent bulbs giving it the look of a laundromat. Connected to a Home Depot on one side and an active construction site on the other. Truly a frightening hotel. I checked out early and found an alternate hotel. Even one night would have been too much. Staff was nice.

Staff is amazing. Fay and Trish and Edward has always treated me like one of the family. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Very little issues. If so they have taken care of them. I highly recommend this hotel. I have been staying here long term. And been well treated

This is NOT up to Marriott standards. When we checked in we walked into our room that smelled like cat pee. After changing rooms it was better but still had a musty smell. There were two two towels and no bedding for the sofa bed. You are not able to call the front desk so had to do many trips to the desk. This hotel needs a desperate upgrade! The master bed is decent but the sofa bed is terrible. The house keeping was very good and the staff was friendly. There are many newer and nicer hotels near by so don't stay here!!

Needs updated and a deep clean! The bathrooms hand no washcloths, hallways needed vacuumed and they need to enforce the no smoking policy! The hall reeked of ****. Furniture is in need of cleaning at minimum if not replaced, couch was torn and stained. Breakfast muffins and bread was stale and nasty.

I lived here for three nights using Marriott Bonvoy rewards while visiting friends in the area. The property has a very distinct odor when entering the building and the room. Its an old property desperately in need of a Property Iimprovement and an active preventative maintenance program. Not sure if it's a supply issue, but the room did not meet RI standards in towels, face cloths, hand towels, silverware, and dishes. Marriott 15 years with 1639 night stays, IHG 17 years 1800+ night stays, Raddisson, Hyatt. Living the hotel life.

Thanksgiving vacation in Round Rock brought us to this hotel for three nights. After spending time with our family and getting our food on, we arrived to the hotel at night. The first obstacle happens due to the location of this Residence Inn which is located behind a franchise Italian restaurant. It was raining and dark which made it a challenge to find the limited parking area. Hence the second issue which is limited parking area and if you have an SUV, careful since the parking spaces are tight. You need the key to enter from outside and entered our room. As you enter the kitchen area is located to the left and work area on the right with a large sectional sofa. The bedroom has a separate area with a door for privacy. The second day I went to the gym which has a treadmill, stepper and some dumbells. After the gym, took breakfast to our room and it's one of the best morning breakfast areas with scrambled eggs, waffles, sausage, breakfast biscuits, oatmeal, sausage, etc. The restroom shower had a steady stream of water yet not enough towels and soaps for us 3. The customer service was good and rooms clean but a slight smell of old. If you don't mind the parking concerns, this a good place for a small family.
