Pinecliff Village Resort

We never got to use our exchange. We originally booked in May and a week before we were to travel they cancelled our reservation due to water main work being done. We rescheduled to October 4 and on September 27 we were informed our reservation would be cancelled again due to reopening date from the June fire was not going to be met. If they could have let us know that there was an issue from the fire, we could have booked another place. Now given the time we will lose 41,000 points and the end of the year as we can't use them since the places we want to go that take dogs is limited. Good thing we didn't have flights booked as well. RCI should reconsider parterning with this establishment since their planning and communications are lacking.

nice place did not stay long enough to enjoy the place, this was do to the fires in Ruidoso new mexico

The resort was clean but needed updating and repair. Not what we expected AT ALL. Appliances were old and broken and the bathroom was very old.

Overall outstanding of staff and resort was awesome. Even with the fire being eight miles away our stay was seemed to short.

As advertised, this is an older resort so don't expect luxury features but one that is clean and comfortable. Located next to the Highway, it was easy to get to get around, especially to WalMart. Nice amenities like heated pool, playground and barbeques, games for children. Can even borrow sleds for White Sands NM. Made for a good, comfortable base to explore the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful

We have never stayed here before so we didn’t know what to expect. The rooms were very clean, the indoor pool was clean and enjoyable. We received a call days before our stay explaining check in times and procedures. Which was very helpful considering we have never stayed here before. The beds, towels and sheets were clean. The room was very spacious. We have stayed at many cabins but really enjoyed how clean this one was. It’s a little older but no complaints here.

We rented 2 rooms as we did a family trip of 9 people, 2 days before we called to see if we can get our rooms as close as possible and they were kind enough to give us top and bottom rooms. Anna at the front desk was phenomenal, very welcoming and helpful whenever we had questions, literally hospitality goals! We enjoyed 2 days at the indoor pool, which the water was heated, we loved that on the 20° weather. The room where the restrooms are, could be heated as well, because it was always freezing in there, but we still enjoyed it. They have on site washers and dryers, which are super affordable and convenient. Rooms are average, nothing crazy about them, we got a 2 room one bath condo, with a living room and kitchen. Our room had about all appliances, microwave, stove, toaster, blender, coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge, you name it. Pots and pans, cups, plates, bowls, spoons and forks, it was just what we needed. They provide napkins, toilet paper, trash bags, and mini salt and pepper! Beds included were one queen, two twins, and a sofa sleeper which i think was a queen, all our beds, uncomfortable, i think that was the only complaint i have about this place. The mattresses could be better, a lot better! The place is a bit outdated, but honestly is not that bothersome. But other than that it is the perfect place to stay at. You're on one of the main streets, down the street you have dollar tree, big 5 walgreens, Wal-Mart, taco bell, kbobs, just about anything you might need there's a store less than 5 mins away.

The property is located in a location where it is easily accessible to everything in town. About 40 minutes to Ski Apache. It was the perfect size for 4 people. It is older, but everything was kept up. They provided everything we needed except for food. The kitchen has almost everything you need to make simple meals. I would stay there again.

We came for the scenery and the experience. We left feeling taken care of and having a comfortable place to stay while enjoying life. The staff was super helpful; we could borrow sleds for visiting White Sands and not have to purchase them. The little things that count.
