Rumbini Buddha garden resort is not only a hotel but also a beautiful garden with lotus pond , surrounded by lawns and forests, I really appreciate staff members of the hotel, they are so kind and sincere, helping me a lot in many ways, ready to offer what you need instantly. The room is clean, spacious and good light with morden facilities like Ac, hot shower, fast WiFi. It has two baconies where you can watch views and relax and dry your clothes. They are very considerate when cleaning rooms, even helped to fold my messy clothes and shoes, and to put back the clothes you dried in the bacony into the room, keeping everything tidy and nice. The food was very delicious too, I asked them to send to my room, they are very patient, packed the food carefully and delivered with the whole set of delicate dishes, glasses, spoon, knife and so on. In the morning you can hear the birds singing and the staff are diligently doing gardening, cleaning, washing. They even bow down to wipe the bricks of the road leading to room buildings in the garden which touches and impresses me. I am really grateful to all those who have served and helped me with warm hospitality and patience. I highly recommend Rumbini Buddha garden. It's a wonderful choice when you you are in Lumbini.

Five Elements was my highlight in Lumbini. My room was spacious and the AC was excellent and rescued my stay in hot Lumbini, which is definitely worth a visit but during the dry season you should definitely stay at a clean, modern hotel, such as Five Elements, that is well equipped with comfy big beds with exquisite cotton duvets and soft dreamlike pillows and covers. The bathroom has got everything you need and on top a water jet of high pressure - something I miss so often in hotels! The location is perfect because it is a bit back from the main road. My sleep was brilliant and I also enjoyed the quality of my food served by friendly helpful staff. It isn’t far from the beautiful Maya Devi Temple, which I liked best. Actually, this hotel isn’t far from any attraction in Lumbini. All in all, I can only recommend staying there, booking was easy, without complications of any kind. I can say that Five Elements made my stay😊 Thank you 🙏 very much everybody.

Stayed in Room 107 for 2 nights. I arrived early in the evening thanks to difficulties crossing the Indian Nepal border. No major problems checking in except some confusion over if I had already paid. The hotel is in a very good condition with marble and tiles everywhere. My room was on the first floor. There didn't appear to be a lift, but the staircase was pretty shallow anyway. Upon entry to the room, there was a strong smell of Naphthalene. Everything looked clean, although I picked up dust while walking barefoot and ended up using the slippers provided. The bathroom had an open shower, toilet and basin. The room was large enough without everything getting in the way. Hot water was available via a hot water boiler. The bathroom was clean and hygienist enough, although the silicone sealant needed to be redone. The room had a double and a single bed. The blanket and sheets were clean, although there was a slight damp smell. The mattress was medium firm and with the thick blankets, it was quite comfortable sleeping even in the cooler Feb/March weather. Breakfast was part of the package and had to be ordered with a call to the in-house restaurant and brought to the room. Location wise, the hotel is about 15 minutes to the airport by car. The main bus stand is 2 minutes walk away. The immediate area is quiet. The nearest restaurant is about 5 minutes walk, or use the in-house restaurant. The nearest busy area is probably Buddha Chowk, about 1 to 2 km away. That's also where you can get a local bus to Lumbini Historic Park. Overall, I had a good stay. The front office staff are fantastic. Really polite and courteous. The hotel is in good condition, bar some of the small points already mentioned.

The hotel offers spacious accommodations at a great value with ample hot water and all the essential amenities. The breakfast service is outstanding, though a few additional Western options would enhance my overall experience. A fantastic choice for the city. I would stay here again. It's pretty good in Lumbini. To be honest, I live very comfortably. It has nothing to do with not being scored 5 points. It is recommended. The service score was low because a male staff member at the front desk of the hotel, about 30 years old, helped us find a local ”Tutu” car. He started to say 100 rupees, and it cost 1,000 to return to the hotel after using the car. Don't we understand the difference between 100 and 1000? It's ridiculous. Rs 900 is just 50+ RMB. Angrily complained to Ctrip, Ctrip handled it very well, with 100 points. Lament the greatness of the motherland! No matter Nepal or Bhutan, there are good people and people who are not bad people. Quite a nice design and a space. Rooms are spacious and the dining room has space for all kinds of guests. However, the whole stay was a horrible experience. I haven't seen a single 5 star standards in this hotel. Not even a three star. There are massive structural damage, I could see an inch of the concrete through the crack in the dining room. The frame of the room door was completely cracked. Lobby carpets were coming out. The bath room door railing was rusted and the rust was falling off. We could not move the door to close it. It always stayed 2 inches open. The bidet pressure wasn't controlled. The carpets were dusty, curtain had stains. Most horrifying thing I saw was the bedding. I myself is a hotelier and for the first time in my life I saw a duet covered by two bedsheets. The duet was stained and sheets were dusty. Had to call in the middle of the night and asked them to put a proper cover. The sheets smelt like they were kept inside a cupboard for a month and wasn't aired. It was terrible. I believe the hotel is heavily understaffed and the staff is trying their best but taken the size of the place, that must be an impossible task. Still, the gusts must not be put through such experiences. if some attention is not given, this beautiful property will not stand for long.

We checked into Lumbini Palace Resort on November 24, 2023, for a two-night stay. Our experience was flawless; there were no service issues, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. However, upon checking out, I realized I had carelessly left behind a very important item in the room. The day after our departure, I contacted the hotel to inquire about my belongings. They assured me they had found them and would promptly send them back to me. Initially relieved, I awaited their response eagerly. However, as days passed, I received no updates despite my repeated requests for them to send my belongings via courier, with me covering the costs. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to respond to my requests, leaving me to make weekly follow-up calls. After more than three months of waiting, I was informed that my belongings had been lost. The excuses provided, such as changes in management or staff not being on duty, seemed unprofessional and lacked accountability. Losing items of great religious significance has been distressing, and the lack of genuine concern from the hotel only exacerbated the situation. Additionally, the absence of any communication from the new manager further highlighted the hotel's disregard for customer care. As someone involved in the travel industry, I had considered recommending Lumbini Palace Resort to my clients. However, based on my experience, I have decided against it. It's clear that the resort's staff need better training and a deeper understanding of their responsibilities in the hospitality industry. This incident serves as a reminder that exemplary customer service is essential for sustaining success in this field...
