Pretty hotel in a great location. The hotel is a few minutes and just a short walk from restaurants and pubs on the High Street. Rye is quite a compact town. Our room overlooked the car park at the back of the hotel. Not the best view but the room (deluxe double) was spacious. Breakfast was cooked to order and they were able to accommodate a coeliac diet (gluten free options). I would however recommend they keep a separate toaster at the back for gluten free bread only. They were able to provide gf bread for me but couldn’t toast it.

Very clean and comfortable hotel, we arrived by bicycle and the staff were excellent in locking them away securely. Great location, 1 min walk to shops and restaurants, good views and lovely characterful building. I can recommend and would stay again when in Rye.

Det var et super værelse. Med flot udsigt.
Det var et elendigt badeværelse. Der kom næsten ingen vand ud af blandingsbatteriet til at bade i.
Håndvasken var næsten stoppet. Så vandet stod langt op i vasken.
Man kan kun betale for parkering via en app, de vidste ikke duede.
Og de var ligeglade.
Ærgerligt fordi det ellers var ok. 1 ansat til at servicere alle gæster.

I would certainly not go back again, it was so dirty, had to pay for car park 8 50 a day. No evening meals, reception was the bar. Very dated hotel,no lift and not good when your old and you have to walk up about 60 stairs. It certainly needs to be revamped

Lovely bright and airy room. The bathroom could have been more up to date but the nice cosmetics made it feel lovely. The decor was lovely. The breakfast was ok. A bit limited. The bar was very limited. Staff lovely. The communal areas were a bit tired but the rooms lovely. Parking is paid - £8 for 24 hours

Very friendly, helpful & efficient staff. Lovely, comfortable hotel with excellent sun terrace. Excellent breakfast. Hotel updating some rooms, some done - very nicely. Excellent location with shops and restaurants nearby - we went to Webbe, a fish restaurant less than 5 mins from the Lookout. Gusbourne vineyard 15 minute taxi ride away - highly recommended.

I would not stay in the hotel again. The room and corridors were so dirty,general maintenance of hotel is poor. No offer to carry cases or shown to room,just thrown the key across the desk.For the money I expect a better quality hotel and service.
