We stayed here for 3 nights of an 11 day trip to Egypt, booked thru an agency. First let me say that the rooms and accommodations are lovely, comfortable, safe - many positives. The main reason for 4, rather than 5 stars is the food. While not terrible, it also was not good. My main issue was the dryness of the breads, baked goods, etc. Even in the reservation-based restaurants, we were disappointed. The best was the Indian and the appetizers/pre-meal bites were better than the meal. If you plan to stick around the hotel, it would get old real fast. This location is about 1 hour from Hurgada proper, so there aren’t many (any?) options for branching out and away from the resort without some effort. As for the hotel itself, the staff was super accommodating and friendly. The hotel rooms manager was a pleasure as were several of the desk agents, the bellmen, and the ladies in the salon. We assumed that we’d be protected from the hassles of sales since we were at a private, all-inclusive property. Unfortunately, that is not the case. They have red flags which you can take to your chairs on the beach to deter the hustlers, but even those didn’t work. The lifeguard joked that even putting them on your head wouldn’t help. lol We had a beautiful view of sunrise each morning and enjoyed watching the world come alive after a spectacular color show.
Excellent
