The location is some distance from Saga Station, and a taxi from the JR station costs about 1,000 yen. If you walk, it takes about 20 minutes and you will pass through China Town. There are many restaurants and coffee shops on the road. Diagonally across from the hotel is Tamaya (a long-established department store in Saga), but this road is extremely quiet and the Japanese-style rooms have a very nice mood. But the area is really too small. After making the bed at night, there is basically no place to stand. On the first day of check-in, the hotel may have many guests, but something "bad" happened. First, the toilet in the bathroom was not wiped clean. The waiter came to apologize sincerely and moved us to another room. Then we went downstairs for dinner, but when we came up, they should have made the bed while we were dining, but maybe there was not enough service staff. , the bed was not made. But fortunately they were all resolved in time. The proprietress of the hotel is very elegant. There is a service staff at the front desk who is very good in Chinese, Japanese and English. There is no problem in communication. We stayed for two consecutive days, and they specially prepared different contents for dinner so as not to eat the same thing two days. This is very thoughtful. If you come to Saga and want to try a quiet family hotel, but don’t have time to go to the mountains in the countryside, then this one is highly recommended.

There are separate rooms for bathing, but men and women have to bathe at different times. The overall decoration style of the hotel is very artistic. There are four floors in total, and each floor is full of oil paintings. It has an artistic atmosphere and is a very good experience!

百多年歷史的老房子，雖然有些老舊，但服務非常好，所有的設施乾淨整潔，每一個服務員都很親切熱情。 酒店還提供免費的自行車，可以騎着自行車在佐賀城的各個景點之間自由穿梭閑逛，是這次旅行中的一大驚喜。 早餐也非常好吃，衹需要和前台服務員説好第二天的用餐時間，第二天早上準時就會看到熱氣騰騰的早飯在餐廳桌上擺好等着你了。

I was impressed by the fact that authentic prints by Hiroshige, a painter representing the ``ukiyo-e'' style that Vincent van Gogh used as a reference, are displayed throughout the guest rooms. I also learned about a hidden story at the inn, which has connections to Kurume's Japanese painter Shigeru Aoki. We had Japanese food, but these items remind us of important things we had forgotten. I felt that staying here would give me a hint to take a new step forward. The price was on the high side, but I was able to taste something unique to a long-established restaurant, so it was a good memory. It was also great to go cycling with my wife and see the Yokozakura cherry blossoms and the Nabeshima family's Hina dolls.
