I honestly do not have one fault. In my opinion other hotels could learn alot from the customer service experience I received during my stay at Sopwell House. Every member of staff I came into contact with displayed high levels of customer care. The facilities are great and exceptionally clean. Angelique in the spa area and the person who checked us in ( missed name) were absolutely lovely. Despite the distance from my home, I will definitely stay again. The breakfast was great!!! and the spa area was fantastic.

Stayed for a birthday weekend mainly to use the spa. My review is for the spectacular masseuse, David. David is the kindest masseuse I have experienced. He was well educated and informative with the service I chose, deep tissue massage. He listened to my concerns and made sure the needs were met. His professionalism is above all. His technique and attention to detail while making sure you are comfortable the whole time is admirable. If it wasn’t for his massage, I would not be coming back. Thank you David for supporting my health with a phenomenal massage and exceptional customer service.

Went here for afternoon tea. Such a nice place. Ground great to walk of the fantastic food. Afternoon tea is as expected sandwich cakes and of course scones, all were really nice. The service was first class and the room was decorated really nicely. We intend to go back again for lunch or even dinner. Staff were lovely

Shocking customer service We stayed overnight at Sopwell house for a wedding Room was nice but the staff were rude and unhelpful As per some of the other reviews ,Sopwell house has gone downhill They have spent heavily on the facilities and spa service but should have invested in their staff training Would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless they want to be treated by rude and u helpful staff

The venue itself is stunning. The staff are HORRIFIC No manners no consistency and generally just rude. We stayed in the mews which is the more expensive part. For what you’re paying you would expect more. Will NOT be recommending to others to stay

I booked the cottonmill spa club package and was so glad I did as we were able to use all the facilities with no restricted area. The club option has an amazing changing area, fully equipped with all the necessities. Most importantly only club members can use this changing room and the additional spa rooms. I’m pregnant so couldn’t use most of the rooms but honestly didn’t feel I missed out at all. The indoor/outdoor pool/ jacuzzi was simply amazing with a door in the pool so you can swim indoors and outdoors as you please. The package included an hours treatment and I opted for a pregnancy massage. I was given a lovely fluffy pregnancy pillow and the bed was propped with plenty of pillows for my head. By far the comfiest massage bed experience whilst being pregnant! Afternoon tea was great and the team confirmed our very specific dietary requirements a few times and it was lovely to have them catered to rather than dumped in the ‘vegan’ category. Overall, highly recommend booking the club package and paying the extra. Will definitely be back when I’m not pregnant
