Very friendly atmosphere, Holly and her team are welcoming and so accommodating. Watched the football with the locals in their well stocked bar and was a really relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable experience. Rooms a nice mixture of classic and modern, with some quirky artwork. Bathroom was very nice, modern toilet, shower, sink and mirror. Beds comfy and rooms kept clean. Coffee tray kept well stocked. Free WiFi too which worked perfectly. Lovely surroundings in a nice village. Food was very nice too (I had the salmon salad). Would recommend and will stay again if I’m in the area again in future.

I've never eaten in the restaurant. It's close to home so I guess that's why as we try different places! The event was held outside. Huge marquee with seating tables and outdoor bar. Consequently, though the hotel itself looks lovely inside, we only has a nosey around and used the outdoor facilities on this occasion. Apparently the building was once a convent. The nuns would not probably have approved the brilliant Bluegrass band and dancing. It was great. The band exceptional. I have to mention that the drinks were £2 a half or £4 a pint. That's very good value nowadays and we had a few! Credit must go to the owners for putting on the event and attracting locals and visitors. Excellent afternoon and early evening.

As a regular hotel user whilst on business, this hotel is certainly up there with the best. A lovely welcome from the host on arrival and superb evening meal, I had the lamb. I paid around £80 for the night, which in my opinion is a steal. Diolch

Had an overnight stay for a birthday party. Very friendly staff, room was spotlessly clean and very up to date. Great shower. Lots of tea, coffee and chocolate drinks and water in room complimentary.
Buffet was amazing and breakfast was delicious.

We stayed here in our campervan on the way to St Davids and the staff were welcoming and the food great. We called ahead to book a table and couldn't fault the food, wine and also a glass of real ale from the barrel. The bar area is cosy and has been refurbished to a high standard, and best of all, they welcome dogs so our little cocker spaniel was able to stay with us in the restaurant for dinner, and was even provided with a blanket! Would definitely come here again, perhaps to stay in the hotel next time!

This was our second stay. Both times have been excellent. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Food is excellent and the rooms are well designed and clean. Can’t fault our stay and will definitely be returning.

We hired the room for a Baby Shower late Sunday afternoon. Wonderful staff , great communication prior to the Baby Shower and delicious buffet selection provided for the event by Picton House. Everyone thoughly enjoyed. Looking forward to retuning for an evening meal.

We had a fabulous meal here one quiet Monday night early in March and were made so welcome by the owners. They let us stay in their car park in our Motorhome. The menu was great. Just the right amount of choice. We had 3 courses which we never normally do, and lots of wine & beer, the food was the best we've had in a very long time. Delicious! We even got given a tour of the now full renovated house, what this couple have done is remarkable. 6 stunning bedrooms and very tasteful decor all round. We loved it and cannot recommend highly enough.
