The bed was splendid and huge. The bath was narrow. Decaf beverages were only in the foyer. The car park was small and dark but there was a great pair of rapid chargers which made our very long EV trip much easier - we did the length of England and half way up the West coast of Scotland in a short range MG4 so charging whilst settling in to the hotel saved us about 40 minutes of charging elsewhere. We were able to unplug when walking over to the Beefeater restaurant! Good value for money and very convenient for getting from Somerset to Wester Ross!

this is the best premiere inn i have ever stayed at, most times when mum dad and myself go to scotland, we sometimes stay at this hotel, as its convieniant with a restraunt accross the carpark, the rooms are spacious, and the staff are very helpful, we will be staying in december

This premier inn was good for what it is. The room I stayed in was very nice, and you could tell the meticulous effort that was put into the cleaning of the room. The only issue that arose during my stay was the lack of air-conditioning and the ensuing heat of the room, making it difficult to sleep. There was a fan that alleviated these issues, but the fan was very noisy and rattly, making it a possible distraction during a stay. The Beefeater in the car park was reasonably priced and very tasty. Another issue I had is that apparently, no one in the north can park, and there were many cars taking up two spaces and parking like ******, but this was not an issue that was directly linked to the hotel, and thus does not affect my rating.

Room 101 right next to stairs and doorway. Very small high window no daylight so room was very dull. . Cobwebs in ceiling from lights. Very dated compared to other premier inns we have been in. We were only there 1 night to visit friends thankfully.

Me and my wife booked a stay for 2 nights. Upon arriving, I was told their online system is down with no way of accessing digital records and searching booking references, the receptionist at the desk could not find our booking in the physical records and told us there is nothing she can do and that we have to wait until she can check their system but has no ETA as to when this will be possible. We were therefore denied access to the accomodation we prepaid for and the receptionist tried to send us to a nearby pub to wait there, it was nearly 7pm and we had a 6hr car drive to the location prior to arrival. After showing the receptionist our booking reminder and the payment receipt, both of which had the booking reference and my full name, she insitsted she cannot check us in and there's nothing she can do. At this point communication became difficult as we started getting interrupted by her upon trying to continue to figure out the issue as she adamantly did not want to offer further assistance and tried to dismiss us from the lobby. As a final try, I had to ask her to check the physical bookings under my surname. To her surprise the booking was indeed there. Absolutely no apology for her causing us stress, delaying our check in and showing the least effort possible to even find our booking. In fact at the end of this situation she decided to give us a lecture about my wife's attitude which she "did not appreciate". Absolute joke of customer service - unfortunately I did not take the name of the receptionst we were dealing with but this happened on Monday 26th Aug around 6.30-7pm and it was a blonde fair aged lady we had the displeasure of speaking with. First time someone treated us like this in any accomodation.

We chose this Premier Inn because of its proximity to the motorway so that we could break the journey to Dundee and its location was ideal for this. My husband has mobility issues so we chose a room for the disabled. The room was spacious so he could easily manoeuvre his walker. There was good storage and a large, comfortable double bed. However the bed was too low and I had to assist my husband to get up from it. The bathroom offered a pull down rail by the toilet that was useful to my husband but he was unable to shower because the room had a bath in it. Although it was lower than standard there is no safe way my husband can scramble into a bath. He requires an accessible shower with a pull down seat. If Travelodge can get this right why can’t Premier Inn?

Stayed for 3 nights to see friends and Cumbria (where I once lived). This hotel was perfect for ease of getting to (just off jct 42 of m6) and parking. Staff were smiley and friendly and room was comfy. No noise. I even slept 8 hours one night, which is rare for me. I'd stay here again.

We found it difficult to find as signs were obstructed by hedge trees , no indication of where entrance was. Ended up back on M6. Otherwise good value.
