i really enjoyed the view from uphill. breakfast is also provided. however, the check in time is too late at 5pm

It's a 20-minute walk from the main train station, but only three minutes from the nearest tram station. The environment is beautiful, and the breakfast is well-balanced and filling. Like the Lucerne Youth Hostel, there is a slope to walk, which is inconvenient for large luggage.

Excellent solution not far from the center of St. Gallen. Beautiful structure, well maintained and clean, located just above the town, but easily accessible. Breakfast was also good. Low price by Swiss standards. The only problems are the lack of bathroom in the room and the noise at night (but this does not depend on the structure, obviously).

We spent 3 nights in a family room (6 people) with WC & Shower. Very friendly welcome, great breakfast and also the dinner on the first evening was perfect. Clean place and ideally located near the city center, with public transport access right outside the door. In addition, you receive a card for free public transport during your stay (valid from St. Gallen to Lake Constance). We enjoyed discovering the city of St. Gallen, a bike tour on the banks of Lake Constance, as well as a hike in the Appenzell mountains. Simply magnificent.
