Was not good. Just went for the pool pretty much, even then the pool and hot tubs had weird crumbs from others before us. Needs to be cleaned out more, I don't think they cleaned it within the past few days

Good spot for a motel with very few frills but priced right. They allow pets, too! Check-in and check-out were seamless.

The St James Super 8 is always very clean and convenient. The rooms are comfortable, quiet and roomy. The owners are very welcoming. The experience is always positive. It is a really great place to stay.

There was a cockroach crawling across my bed! I was in room 215. The hotel staff refused to come to my room. Lobby is unkept with what looks like left over items from rooms sitting out, soda, beer cans, clothes etc. Carpets appear dirty. This property was bought by new owners in Mar 2022 and they live there in the rooms. RUN.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting family in St. James. Our room was very nice & clean. Breakfast was good and there was enough variety for everyone to find something they liked. The staff at the front desk and the cleaning staff were all very kind and friendly. We had our dog with us and there is a nice grassy area complete with clean-up bags for us to walk her. This motel was perfect for our needs and we will definitely try & book a room the next time we come to St. James!

This past June 2022 I along with many family members spent 3 nights at the Super 8 in St. James and were very impressed with the cleanliness and service we received during our stay. Thank you Super 8 staff.

Had planned a pool stay hotel and booked here through *******, but when we got there we found out the pool was out of service(14 days). The man at the counter called ******* and got us a refund, and suggested another place to stay. For the customer service this place gets my 5 stars, they care about their customers.

When I checked in, there were problems from the beginning. I wasn’t able to get into the first room due to the door scanner being broke which was a quick fix but a silly inconvenience. My tv was going in an out/not working well and the remote was broke so I fixed it myself. My room smelt musty and disgusting which was the worst part of it all. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, so that was a positive.
