Motel 6 Saint Joseph, MO

This hotel is horrible, I couldn't see the picture on the tv,,,, only one trash can in front by the tv , none in the restroom, we had for small towels but no wash clothes shower area is a walk in when used the floor was cover over half of floor including under sink, no coffee makers and the ice machine was broken so no ice. You pay 97.00 + for a room you should have Amenities . Was constantly noisy outside. Find another motel St Joseph has plenty of nice motels for the same price . Do yourself a favor and avoid.

I booked a non smoke room for my family, the room offered was full of smoke, smells of Cigarette all over the bedsheet. bedsheet were having burn mark from cigarettes. bathroom tiles were broken from many places. over all very terrible experience.

Fair warning! Long and extensive review. TO BEGIN, online photos of property are misleading. I'm not even sure they are of the same property. RENOVATIONS are underway but there is no rhyme/reason to how they are being carried out. I feel bad for the cleaning staff bcoz they can only do so much with the tools given. With that in mind, our ROOM was clean with fresh sheets, pillow cases, towels, no personal amenities except bar soaps, missing coffeepot, fridge and microwave, TV worked, beds are older and a bit firm for my liking but not nec. uncomfortable, pillows good, water hot, pressure in sink and tub good, can't say the same for the showers pressure. OUTDOOR stairs are visibly crumbling and rusty (trip/fall hazard), cigarette butts littered the area, rooms had cracked or missing windows and visible structural issues with doors/frames. INDOORS, our rooms door was warped from knob to floor, drywall in spots was drooping, flooring was warped at joins (another trip/fall hazard), credenza was missing drawers/pulls like someone was in the process of refacing and got distracted, messy paint job, spackle in bath was still wet, towel bar and drain traps were yet to be replaced. As of right now I would NOT rec. staying here. The few interaction had with staff was cordial, location of the property is well appointed - even with everything we never really felt unsafe - but what's happening on property during renos is disorganized at best, unprofessional at worst.

My room was under renovation. The bed was comfortable, it was clean, but the door wouldn’t close completely and left about a 1/4 inch gap, the floor wasn’t finished, there was no TV or usual amenities use.

Rooms are sparse but beds are comfy, water is hot, ac is quiet and the TV works. My best friend and our dogs stayed for under $100, so if you don't need the extras like fridge, mic, or shampoo...it is fine. It was quiet a d we slept well.

The room smelled of smoke even though there was a no smoking sign. There was cigarette holes in the blankets. Hole in the wall in between the door and air unit. Bugs ran across the ceiling. When I made these concern to the front desk they were super understanding and very helpful with a refund . The staff was amazing!!
