House 20 Minutes from Elk Viewing and 5 Minutes from Local Restaurants!

We visit this area every year for a family reunion however this was the first time using this property. Our host was very accommodating, all communications were answered quickly and clearly. In addition to addressing our questions she provided a lot of helpful local information that added to the enjoyment of the visit. The rental appears to be recently remodeled/upgraded so all the rooms were fresh and well equipped. The kitchen had new appliances and every feature/tool that we might need,All rooms were very clean, sufficient linens and towels were supplied and laundry could be done at the rental, should that be necessary.The rental utilizes several window air conditioners for cooling. These units were sufficient to cool the entire property.There was ample off-road parking for 2-3 vehicles. High speed internet was available and the TVs were all loaded with several streaming services.All said this was an excellent property to rent, we only have complementary things to say about the experience. We highly recommend this property to others that may visit the Elk County/St Mary’s area.

The house and setting were very quiet and relaxing. The kitchen was fully stocked, and the appliances were clean and modern.

Hosts were very responsive, the home was very comfortable for our stay.

The linens need improvement they were of poor quality. The bathrooms tubs and showers could use updating and/or cleaning. The king bed and futon could be updated. adding hooks or bars to the bathroom walls would be helpful

Balcony not at all scenic. Kitchen was perfectly appointed. Only issue was no dish cloths/sponges. Also only one dish towel. We did dishes a couple times a day so more dish towels would’ve been handy. Kitchen was absolutely beautiful.Living room furniture was extremely comfortable and cozy. We were able to get the bills game and a couple movies on our own accounts.

The house is beautiful. It is so clean. Haley is an awesome host. She informed us of restaurants and Elk sitings. What a wonderful place to rest and reconnect. Will come back again. Thank you, Haley for a wonderful time.

The property overall does resemble the photos, though the listing images seem to have filters that make it appear a bit brighter and newer than it feels in person. The home has an older, lived-in charm, and it seems that some updates are still in progress.The linens and towels were clean, though on the older side, and the master king bed was quite firm. The upstairs shower could use some attention, and while the location is a little outside of town, you can still hear some traffic passing by.It’s not that the photos are inaccurate—they just convey a lighter, more refreshed feel than the actual experience. The house itself has a cozy, vintage vibe, more like staying at a well-loved family home.On a positive note, the owner was wonderful to communicate with—very responsive through the app and quick to answer any questions. Check-in was seamless, and there were no issues accessing the property.

Overall, the house was nice and as described in the listing. Some areas that could use a refresh include the upstairs bathroom and the dishwasher in the kitchen. Very convenient to the Elk viewing areas and attractions in the St. Marys area.

Would definitely stay here again
