Island Grand at TradeWinds

the hotel was nice, staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable and clean.

We had a nice stay.

I had a great experience at the resort for the fourth ! The water slide is always a blast and you can tell that the new management team is focused on creating a top of the line 5 star customer service experience for Tradewinds guests. My favorite part of our trip was getting family pictures with Matt Kerns and Paulina with Family Beach Photo LLC.

The island grand is showing its age. The beach canopies are in rough condition, the rooms need updating. The staff was kind, but overall feeling understaffed. We had fun overall, and the kids were safe to explore the resort.

We live this place and have been sevèral times. The staff are great and its clean. We love having the kichenette. The rooms are starting to look a bit dated but the property is making some great improvements to its facilities. The beach is always amazing and location is perfect

Check in was at 4p. We sat around and didn’t get our room keys until 5 min before 6 pm. We had dinner reservations at 6 that we wanted to freshen up for but we had our luggage with us sitting in the lobby for almost 2 hours. VERY disappointed with that! Even if we wanted to “take advantage of the amenities”, how could you change into a bathing suit, cover up etc and what do you do with the luggage. A whole afternoon/evening wasted.

Paulina was awesome! She was very patient with my littles and did an amazing job!! Definitely will use her again next visit!!! The sunset was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere is very family oriented! Will be visiting again soon!!!!

We had the best trip! The icing on the cake though was Matt with Family Beach Photos! We haven't had family pictures done in forever and he took his time with us and made us all feel so comfortable. I can't wait to print these out for our gallery wall.

Paulina family beach photo, she did an absolutely astonishing job! Super sweet! Love her pictures. She’s very passionate, and does a very good job. Definitely recommend her taking you pictures!!! The sunset with the pictures was beautiful!!
