Arrived after 23.00 and could not check in as the automated machine out of order and the phone number in front of the door could not be contacted. Very disappointed. Had to book another hotel to sleep.

Good service

Disappointed with this hotel. Poorly equipped room, broken shower tap, bathroom door no longer closes, no hooks to hang towels, very damaged mattress, hair in the shower... Could do better! That said, the first room assigned to us smelled very strongly of tobacco 🙄, the receptionist very quickly found us another one. Expensive room for the equipment.

3 nights spent there... A real disaster, fight in the middle of the night, argument, nights where certain guests do not respect others with loud music (3h40), shouting, drunken evenings where there are 5-6 people in the room screaming , *********** who spend time there in the presence of their customers + fight with their customers in broad daylight in front of the children for money!!!! Cleanliness let's not even talk about it, 4 days there, no one came to clean our room throughout our stay (we did it ourselves!) The hotel is certainly not expensive but we will never go to this establishment again, more than disappointed... This is not a place to go and even less so with children!!!

Overall the hotel corresponds to the price, apart from the bedding which is very old and uncomfortable

Hotel to avoid

Sit down!... Exposed electric cables in several places (bedside lights, heater, air-conditioning). Shower curtain hanging off. Shower plug hole just an open hole. Shower curtain mouldy. Toilet flush button makes the wall move. Hole in bathroom door. Various bits of paint / facia missing. People smoking *******. Our daughters bed smelt of ****. Receptionist rude and dismissive. Security gates not locked overnight. Don't know why I can't give a 0 out of 5.

This is absolutely disgusting! I was worried that the bed above me was going to fall on me. I'd say that this is not a hotel. This is an absolute garbage. I truly pray for everyone who is going to visit this "hotel" and it's facilities. Best of luck to you all.

Tried staying here as it was situated in a convenient location to Calais for a channel crossing. The communication from this hotel is non existent. When you ask about checking in after their reception closes (2200) they just send an automated reply asking what time you will arrive. Their customer service team (I use the term loosely) lack basic customer service training and you can see this demonstrated in the Q&A to their trip advisor page. I cannot believe anyone stays here for more than one night. It is run down, filthy, zero customer service and needs to be shut down down. Unless you have no other option and are really desperate to try and get your head down for a few hours then this is the place for you

Disgusting place. Do you like stained toilets, cigarette burns in your duvet, stained walls, walking through an ashtray each day, etc... if yes, this is the place for you! We have stayed here about 8 times. It was ok. Not anymore. This last trip was a nightmare. The place was being painted by a group of men, one of whom made my teenage daughter and her friend feel very uncomfortable by openly gesturing to his friend to check them out as we walked past. I confronted him and got the no English grin (they weren't French). My complaint to management met with shrugged shoulders and "it's their culture"!. Countless groups of young men, night after night, sat outside our hotel doors, drinking, smoking ****, late into the night, beyond 2am. Manager confronting them in the morning over the mess, noise etc. People in the room next door cooking fish in their room each day!?! Seriously! Fire escape signs ILLEGALLY taped up, a sea of cigarette ends in all directions on the dry grass. BRILLIANT! Drunk guests + ciagerette end + dry grass = POTENTIAL FIRE! I KNOW, LETS TAPE UP THE SMOKE ALARMS! ******!!! An abandoned, smashed car in the car park was eventually removed (really inspires confidence when parking your own car in there, right!), but as you'll see in the photos, the rubbish!!! Our shower was broken, replaced with a handheld IKEA one that couldn't be attached to the wall! I did not feel comfortable the whole time here, and my teenage daughter and her friend certainly didn't! We left 1 day earlier due to the state of this place. There is nothing good about this HOSTEL anymore. Pay a little extra, stay anywhere else. We will never return. Not a hotel. At best, a HOSTEL.

We only paid €30 a night, which is good value for a clean and basic hotel room. It is exactly what you’d hope for at that price. The bonus is it is dog friendly. Free parking and next door to lots of shops. It broke our 12 hour drive up nicely. Building is being redecorated so will look nice.

Having stayed frequently in previous years mainly for the closeness to the Carrefour super market, we were pleasantly surprised that all rooms had been given a make over during the Covid down time. Staff at reception very helpful, nothing was too much trouble
