At check in, the front desk is non-welcoming or informative. As I have never been here I asked if they had a mapper for the resort, this was never offered to us but given to us when we asked. I called room service to ask where the ice machine was and they told me the wrong building. There is absolutely no room cleaning service. Our shower door handle fell off the first night The window in the bathroom would not close we couldn't close the blind that was over the toilet The door is not sealed for the front door showed light through thank goodness we didn't need the dryer as there was rust in the dryer. Roosters started crowing at 3:00 a.m. and then again at 6:00 a.m. every single night. If you want to walk this is definitely a place to go just to get to the pool, you have multiple flights of stairs to get up to from this area of the resort. The bartenders are wonderful, Bo, and I think the married couple was Lisa and Ray. Abandoned cars in the parking lot potholes this resort is definitely not maintained.

We started out on the wrong foot here, since we could not get an early check-in after finally arriving early to a timeshare trade for once. Then the time to check in came around and our condo still was not ready. We did not get to check in until a couple of hours after the 4 pm check-in time. After that, things got better. Our condo was great with an awesome view. We did have to request some more wash cloths and they were right on it. Any other hiccups we encountered were fixed quickly. The bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked but I padded it a little bit and fixed the issue. The shower curtain was not quite wide enough, but we made it work. The staff was great and the pool and hot tub were very nice with a nice bar right in the pool area. The restaurant at the complex served pretty good food and drinks and made for an easy way to get a meal.

Had the most unfriendly person at checkin. An absolute turnoff. Checkin was painful. Apparently she was new! Asked for a renovated room, they looked at me like I was kidding. Rooms are a step up from a homeless shelter. Old, outdated, rattan furniture, etc. new pictures on their website are fake. Not at this resort. Gave it one star because it had electricity and running water, that’s all it had going for it. This is a dump with garbage at front entrance to building. Do not stay here..

We stayed only for one night to get on a boat trip and this was the most convenient hotel and priced appropriately. We were pleasantly surprised as we got connecting larger rooms with gorgeous views, kitchenettes and washer/dryer - given our short stay didn't use it but it seemed like a perfect fit for larger families. Food was limited in the middle of the week to the pool bar but the service was excellent (at the pool bar and the gentlemen driving the carts). Reception offered to get us rooms together on their own so proactive.

Pirates room in the first building bottom floor are HORRIBLE! I am Super annoyed that during an 11 day stay someone decided to downgrade me to a end building bottom floor facing bushes for the last 4 days of my stay. Shame on Bluebeards for how they treat regular customers who use thier propert bi-monthly for business. I DO NOT Recommend This place any more!! The manager thought that I should care that an owner came to take my original unit so I should be ok with the basement unit facing the bushes with the front part of the tub on tbe floor when I entered the room. VERY DISAPPOINTED with service and management at Bluebeards. You Have Been Warned!!

Had booked the hotel for one week through our travelagent. Came to the hotel, and they couldn't find the reservation. We got a voucher, but the didn't care. Asked us to call our travelagent. They didn't offer any help, this was our problem eventhough we had the voucher. We used over an hour trying to fix it. They didn't even bring us anything cold to drink in the heat. Finally we found out that ******* didn't send them the confirmation and we got a room, an upgrade as they said. To our great surprise there was no daily cleaning - only if you would pay extra. The room was big and very nice with a kitchen, two sinks in the bathroom and a big closets for our clothing. We had a balcony with harbourview and of course aircon. Three persons in that big room will do but the 3. person had to sleep on the sleeping couch - and it was terrible - could feel the springs and after 5 days my bag very hurts. The room was big enough for an extra bed. I thins the couch would be ok for kids. When you want your towels changed, you have to put them in a bag, put it outside the door. Call the reception and they will bring you some new - if they remember to do so. The poolarea was nice - the surface a bit run down. The restaurant was very good, the sweetest and most helpfull staff and good food. As I said the staff in the reception - they vere there for their paycheck - except for a guy - I can't remember his name. There is a desk, where they say they can help you with sightseeing etc. It's better to ask in the bar, they can answer your questions....
