This resort should have its own generator for each building to deal with rolling and extended power outages. Other than that opener my family loved the five nights we spent here. Such a beautiful location and it's been better when there aren't any cruise ships in Port dropping off passengers for the day. Great food options just steps away or a short walk to Red Hook. I suggest Bldg C if you have the opportunity to stay here.

Our family had the best vacation ever at Sapphire Beach! We arrived on 5.25 and stayed through ***. The accommodation were very nice, clean and up to date. We stayed in a Beach front Villa (Bldg D) and our host Bianca, was fabulous . She promptly answered every question we had and had fantastic recommendations on where to rent a car, eat....etc. The view was amazing and we spent a lot of time gazing at St Johns and the other surrounding islands while hanging out on our 2 Lanai's. Exploring St Thomas and St Johns was a blast and we will be returning and hopefully, renting out the same unit! Thanks so much Bianca! You were awesome!!

I DO NOT recomend staying here. We booked a room that states 1 King Bed and 2 Queen beds and when we arrived, the two "queen beds" were pull-out couches. We soon found bugs all over the kitchen area, no they aren't ants. We all woke up with bed bug bites all over our begs and back/stomach. We had no hot water and the toilet was leaking every day. On top of that, we lost power about 10 times to the point where our grochrey food went all bad and we had to waste it all. no refunds are allowed either.

A nice spacious room near the marina and beach. Food options and shopping at the resort. Beach has bar scene and family areas, nice snorkeling. Taxi to town for other restaurants and groceries.

Everything you need is close by. Excellent location. Beautiful views of the ocean, tge beach and the islands.

The Resort itself was pretty nice, beach was wonderful the bar and restaurants on site were wonderful, the beach is beautiful.
The negatives were the unit itself was way below satisfactory levels. Unit was musty, rusty and very much outdated.
The view was that of resort was that of beach lounger storage.
Overall, we felt ripped off and hope this review will prevent someone else from feeling the same way. Stay away from unit A one hundred and one at Sapphire Beach Resort.

Beware!!!! The pics on the site are well over 10 years old! This motel-like accommodation is more like a D- Spring Break location.

The location is superb. However, the hotel is in major need of updating. We were there in 2005; no updates have been made since then--except a pad added to the old mattress. There was a used bar of soap in the shower. We had the sense that the room had not been cleaned

We just returned from a week's stay at Sapphire Beach resort. This was our first trip to St Thomas and it exceeded my expectations. We rented through Airbnb and our unit was in building D. It was a first floor unit and the views were amazing! You are directly on the sand with the pool near by. I loved the patio where you could sit in chairs overlooking the bay in the evenings. The beach was steps away to the left and past that is the beachbar, restaurant and coffeeshop. Taxis are easily hailed from that area as well. I enjoyed our building being a little bit removed from the activity since it is a public beach and there is live music there on weekends.The beach itself is beautiful; the water was clear as could be and easy to snorkel. Red Hook is a mile away with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The ferry to St John is in RedHook as well if you want to explore another island. Highly recommend.
