The person at reception was so afraid that I wouldn't pay that she rushed to make me pay. I booked an evening stopover and seeing the reviews for the catering I canceled it. What was my astonishment to pay practically the same price for the room and breakfast and the room, breakfast and restaurant. Friendliness is not really the strong point of the place apart from a nice dark-haired lady in the morning. We decided on this hotel because of its location next to the highway that goes towards Brittany. The hotel is well equipped, with rooms of correct size. Although it shows the passage of years, it needs a coat of paint, it is clean and suitable for a short stay. The hotel staff is nice and helpful. Breakfast was as expected in France: bread, pastries (Neapolitan chocolate and croissant), cold cuts, cheese and jams. Next to the hotel there is a restaurant and a pizzeria (recommended) so you can eat something without having to go to a nearby town.

Great welcome. Very comfortable beds . Air condition in the room, very much appreciated. Great choice for breakfast. Good value. Nice restaurant next door for dinner. A little difficult to find using our GPS but got instructions from the receptions when I rang.

We spent a very bad night in rooms 21 and 20. In fact a group of cyclists were using the “seminar” room right next to the room and as a result there was a lot of passing late in the evening (conversations out loud in the corridors but especially doors which slam loudly) but also early in the morning. I don't understand why the hotel didn't put the cyclists in question in the next rooms. In short, we had a very bad time. I regret choosing this hotel. I'm so disappointed. A photo to show you the room in question and its proximity to our 2 bedrooms.

Cleanliness in the rooms but maintenance leaving something to be desired, empty shower gel which is not pleasant when you are already in the shower, night table missing on one side of the bed, light bulb not replaced above the sink, towel bar under the sink half torn off, rotting wall under the toilet.
