A typical IBIS hotel, ideal for a one or two night stopover with an added bonus that it has an adjoining restaurant providing reasonable evening meals. It is also easy to access from the Autoroute The staff are courteous, friendly and helpful

très bon accueil et excellent petit déjeuner, chambre un peu étroite. A signaler, l'aboiement d'un chien à proximité en début de soirée et le claquement incessant le matin de la porte réservée au femme de service à proximité de la chambre qui m'est attribuée.

En nuit d'étapes, nous avons choisi cet hôtel car mi chemin de notre destination. La chambre est très petite et le lit n'est pas confortable. En effet, c'est un surmatelas qui est bordé, du coup, il bouge de manière où on se retrouve en travers du matelas. Le personnel de réception est très bien, très accueillant. Sinon hotel sans plus

Op doorreis naar en van Spanje is dit een mooie stop. Vlak naast de snelweg. Eigen parkeerplaats en een eenvoudig maar smakelijk restaurant. Als het mooi weer is kun je ook op het terras borrelen. Dus je hoeft niet perse de auto weer te pakken om de stad in te gaan. Alles bij de hand. Prima plekje voor 3 sterren.

La chambre est trop étroite 13 m2 difficile d'y ranger des bagages, la salle de bains présente la même étroitesse. Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées, difficile de passer une bonne nuit quand les voisins se chahutent, claquent les portes Par contre personnel accueillant et propreté des lieux

Habitué des hôtels Ibis, j'ai été très déçu par cet hôtel. Accueil et personnel très agréable mais les chambres laissent fort à désirer pour un hôtel soit disant 3 étoiles: Très petite chambre avec peu de place pour déposer les bagages. Salle de bain de 3m² comprenant douche, lavabo et WC (dans la salle de bain et non séparés). Même pas la place pour poser une trousse de toilette. Je déconseille fortement.

Saintes is conveniently located for an overnight stay if travelling on the motorway from Bordeaux towards the ferry ports, but you will need a reliable satnav to negotiate roads from the motorway junction to the hotel, as it is a bit “round the houses” to get there! This Ibis is all on one level, though some rooms are at the end of a fairly long corridor. Friendly and helpful staff. However, we have stayed at a number of Ibis hotels over the years, but were surprised at the size and layout of the room. Unfortunately it wasn’t of the size and quality that we have come to expect of the chain. The door for the bathroom was very narrow but also functioned as the door to the bedroom, making access during the night very difficult. We left wondering whether this is a hotel that has been taken over by Ibis, rather than one being purpose built.
