I felt sorry for this hotel as it is located at the end of an unmade road facing a scruffy beach with a closed beach bar. It deserves better. Boa Vista is a disgrace with abandoned developments and an atmosphere of resignation. The only thing I found beautiful was the other end of the island where there is a magnificent beach (off which you would be warned against swimming because of the tides), which has been commandeered by a monstrous all inclusive Rui Hotel. The hotel itself is sparkling clean and well planned with a pretty pool area and a presentable cafe. Breakfasts are good but the place closes the rest of the day so if you want dinner the nearest place is Cafe Alma about ten minutes walk away. Find during the day but a bit hazardous after dark.

My husband and I have just come back from the best holiday in Boa Vista and staying at this genuinely, couldn't do enough for you Apart hotel! The apartment itself is huge and has everything that you could possibly want as far as equipment, huge balcony good view of the sea, fluffy towels for bathroom use, as well as providing towels for swimming. The double bed was SO comfortable, the fridge big enough to pack for a month if you wanted! Breakfast was all you needed from cereals, cooked breakfast, salads, to name a little of their breakfast menu, different coffees all served by the most attentive staff.....nothing was too much trouble, and a perfect set up for the rest of the day! Tania and Heidy on reception, well what a lovely couple of girls, ( I can refer to them as girls as I am old!) nothing was too much trouble, they were so helpful and smilie, no trouble to book tours, order taxis, in fact anything did everything you needed! The director Gianluca also made you feel like you were special by interacting with you and filling us in about things we were interested in about the island. I can't recommend highly enough our weeks stay at this cleaner than clean, apartment, staff who were actually interested in making your stay as pleasurable as possible! Our sincere thanks to this wonderful Por do Sol and every one who works there! Can't wait to come and visit you again!!

Por do Sol was a great place to stay for our recent holiday on Boa Vista. The reception staff were super efficient and friendly and were so helpful when my sister suffered damage to her knee and was unable to negotiate steps or walk unaided. The apartment with a large balcony was nicely furnished and well-equipped for self-catering. The pool was well-maintained and great for a dip once you got used to the invigorating temperature of the water. The stunning local beach is a short walk away and was empty in early December save for a few people fishing.. We highly recommend the Italian restaurant Melita which justifiably has an excellent reputation on the island. If you have a drink or dine there the sunbeds and umbrellas are free to use. We also recommend the friendly Belgian bar Elci virtually next door for quality take away food as well as Cafe Alma Creola. The little shop Cafe Shop Restaurant ETC was great for essentials and also has a menu of the week with three featured Creole-inspired meals to eat in or take away. Sal Rei is only about 15 minutes easy walking away from the apartment and taxis are readily available. The week we had at Por do Sol was lovely all-round and we highly recommend staying here.

We stayed in Por do Sol aparthotel last December. The hotel is run by two charming ladies Gina and Miranda who were very kind and very helpful. Our apartment was spacious with well equipped kitchen and a huge balcony with ocean view. Everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi and is located in a quite area. Falling asleep to the sound of the ocean waves was very relaxing! There are two sandy beaches within walking distance from the hotel and two small restaurants serving good food. Highly recommended. A&A

Lovely spacious clean modern apartments with large balcony giving great sea views. Very friendly helpful staff with local recommendations. Nice breakfast available on site. Quiet location with lovely beach and beach bar across the road with great food. Short to medium walk to supermarket and other restaurants, or can get a taxi. Apartments had only just reopened after being closed over Covid so were particularly quiet and not everything was open. The pool was freezing and needed refurbishment as the tiles were missing or loose. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay.

È stata un’esperienza incredibile: siamo stati benissimo! Gli appartamenti sono nuovi, bellissimi, pulitissimi e accoglienti. Noi avevamo quello con vista oceano ed è stato pazzesco, molto fresco e confortevole, con una terrazza enorme perfetta per ammirare le stelle la sera. Tutto lo staff – e sottolineo tutto – è stato cordiale, professionale e sempre pronto a farci sentire coccolati. Ci hanno aiutato tramite WhatsApp h24 e hanno fatto davvero di tutto per soddisfare il nostro benessere, offrendo un customer service che va oltre le cinque stelle. La colazione era fantastica e ha reso i giorni lì davvero indimenticabili. Inoltre ci hanno lasciato la camera fino alle 12:30, gesto che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Davvero non potevamo chiedere di meglio! Grazie di tutto ❤️

Chambre confortable et propre. Personnel adorable sauf une dame ( une responsable ) à l'accueil qui vous embrouille pour les voitures de location, excursions et sur les petits déjeuners afin de vous soutirer un peu plus d'argent...C'est bien dommage parce qu'on ne recommandera pas cet hôtel à cause d'elle.
