Salalah Gardens Hotel Managed by Safir Hotels & Resorts Reviews

Hotel is in a good location about 5/7 minutes from the airport. It’s a resort, on the 1st floor of Gardens Mall Salalah. We had issues when we arrived, the gave us a standard room while we booked king room (the staff told us, that is referring to the bed size) this should not be the title of the listing (King Room etc). We got in touch with trio who were extremely helpful, the entire team, promptly. Had this been a European company, god help us, honestly (we all know when it comes to the crunch, not majority live up to their sales pitch). We took it upon ourselves also and had a word with the manager regarding this issue, who was happy to upgrade us to a very good room. We did spend a night in the standard room but it was still a very decent room. As mentioned before we done out locally so not sure about the food, conveniently located, take the lift straight down to the mall, this has a hyper market (carrefour) and Lulu is a walk down from the Mall (walking is not an option, you can it’s a bit of a walk with no pedestrian access). Staff friendly except one lady at the desk when asked for two glass sent the smallest cups via room service (glass are for restaurant only, we were told) but another kind lady at the desk in the morning (when requested sent these over). Would we stay there again? Yes, we would but make sure you check which room you are booking. Hats off to trip.com for being there with us all the way. The beach is a taxi ride away, the picture here is from Al Haffah beach and the frankincense being sorted by workers from Bangladesh. The location of the hotel is great and the presence of the complex near it is excellent and the treatment of the staff at the top of sophistication But the problem of the hotel is the late arrival of bags and the lack of parking due to the use of people with guests in the same parking lot. Breakfast is not good, there is no variety of the same food. Constant inconvenience from guests and loud sound The negatives are many You deserve 3 stars, not 4

I spent 5 nights at the hotel and really enjoyed it a lot. I deducted a bit for the location since one will only be able to get to the beach using a taxi or car. Bit then again, it is located in a really nice mall and you have all you might possibly need close by. I enjoyed going on a tour to visit some of the Wadis together with Achmed, who really took all the time to satisfy my thirst for knowledge. And I really did enjoy the pool time, with really great service by the team!

I will certainly stay again if I return

Probably the best hotel in Salalah. Rooms were beyond expectations and value for money. Will stay only here in future.

Slippers and hair dryers are not available...the rating is so high. I don't know how 🤭

Very good location - in the city Centre & close proximity to the international airport. The rooms are a decent size and the housekeeping does a good job. Special mention to Dolly who tidied our rooms during our stay. All staff were courteous be it the breakfast place “ Flavors” or reception desk namely Ms. Fatima. The best part is the souk across the road and carrefour supermarket within the premises. The taste of food at Annabi was good. Plenty of coffee shops to enjoy a cuppa during your leisure hours. Would recommend a stay at this hotel.

Good meeting room and staff. The buffet in falavors restaurant have huge varietues and lists of choice. The staff are all friendly. Mr vipin for assisting us in meeting and ms joan for taking care of us in our lunch. Thank you. Its highly recommended

I really love your breakfast specially service was excellent by your team. The food is tasty and the chef are all good. The pastry section are all feshly baked. I loved the croissant and danish. have live Omelet and waffle station. I will Highly recommend this hotel
