Since we arrived at the hotel, we have received very good attention and kindness.
The location is perfect, the facilities are clean and well kept.
The negative point is that you can hear everything. From 8:30 in the morning, you can hear the sounds of hotel staff cleaning and moving furniture.
At breakfast, we received good attention, but the quality of the products was a bit unsatisfactory.
I will repeat the attention and location stays received.

The location of the hotel is good, suitable for self-driving, just park the parking space in the hotel's surrounding wall. The Carrefour hypermarket near the opposite, easy to purchase, not too far to drive to the attractions, the room type is relatively new, and the breakfast with the reservation is also very good .

Very good small hotel, very important, they are very adaptable to covid problems. It's great to spend a night in planning work and business. It is silent. No sound can be heard in the room. Very central location, with many services around, and in a very quiet small square.

The hotel has its own large car park for easy self-driving tour. The hotel is in an excellent location, overlooking the old town of Salamanca. The hotel restaurant service is very good, the breakfast is rich and the quality is high. The ”Spanish sirloin” in the local dinner set is full of heat and meat, which is worthy of special recommendation. The hotel lobby and room cleaning service maintains the brand's consistently high standard and is satisfactory.

Booked here last minute on travel through Spain. It has several options which appealed to us: family rooms with kitchenette, pets welcomes, 24 hour check-in, secure parking, walking distance to city centre. There are other options for families with small children but none/few with the above conveniences. The positives: The area is easily reachable with a drop-off in front. Underground, secure parking is right around the corner with direct elevator access to the lobby/rooms. The facilities and rooms are clean and spacious. Bathroom was modern with good quality towels. Beds were comfortable. Some other reviewers complained about the distance to the old centre but frankly its 1 km! Come on! If you are using bus transport its right across the street from the bus terminal but its not a big city terminal which usually attracts ”colourful” characters. There's several eating options at the terminal. The underground parking was great in that the spaces were very large and it was secure. The negatives: As we arrived late the garage door was closed and wouldn't open automatically with the parking ticket so my wife had to get out and walk around to the lobby to ask they remotely open it. The air-con was a little noisy. The blind on our window was stuck closed so we couldn't let any daylight in, but we were just there for sleeping and bathing. The furniture is nothing special but functional.

If you like the historical aspect, this is an old monastery or convent that has been repurposed as a hotel in the university city of Salamanca. It has a huge courtyard on a steep, but walkable, hill and is attached to other historical buildings. The room itself is large and comfortable with excellent beds and pillows. We had a French balcony that overlooked the cathedral and has a fridge and safe. The bathroom is very modern, and we loved the plush bath sheets. Though we didn't go down to it, the hotel is very near the river, also within walking distance to the Plaza Major that has lots of cafes but less retail. The whole area is filled with 15th century buildings that are cathedrals, universities or used for student housing. It is a maze of narrow streets and alleys - so besides our guided tour, we did not venture very far from the hotel during our one night stay, though we understand it to be very safe. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding, as you willl note from the pictures. The hotel has a large reception and lobby area that swings around to the breakfast room. The hallways are rather dark, and it is a bit of a maze to find your room. perfect for one night, amid centuries of history.

GGuest UserOur stay at Hacienda Zorita was perfect in every way, truly faultless. From the moment we arrived the staff greeted us and let us know that we were much appreciated guests who were going to be well cared for in a highly professional yet relaxed and friendly way. Dreamy and romantic are the adjectives that come to mind when describing this ancient monastery dating back to 1366, located on the river Tormes. There simply could not be a more perfect setting for a wedding. Our daughter and son-in-law were married here and the entire day was joyous. As far as organisation was concerned, every stage of the day ran as smooth as a very well oiled machine. High quality organic food and wine is produced at this venue. The standard of the food and drink served to a large number of guests at each stage of the day went over and above expectations. The generous servings of a multitude of delicious canapies upon arrival was quite a happy topic of conversation amongst the guests. All this served with ice cold glasses of champagne from a strong number of smart well-trained waiting staff. This set the scene for a day that the staff grasped with determination to ensure that each and every guest had the time of their lives. The experience of staying as a hotel guest was equally world class. The rooms are charming and rustic, in keeping with the history of the building, whilst providing luxury and all the usual facilities one expects of a hotel of this standing. The beds and luxurious bedding deserve a mention in their own right for the comfort and wonderful night's sleep they provided. The grounds are well manicured and fascinating, providing walks with views to delight the eye around every corner, after which one can wander into the main house at what seemed like any time and sit by the river to be served delicious food. Such is the pride in the meat and cheese they produce, that they have a special room with a glass wall to display what is on offer! There is a small spa on the premises which we didn't visit but I was told by another guest that they also offer massage and it was excellent. The location of this great historic hotel complex is idyllic, set deep in glorious countryside yet 10 mins drive from Salamanca and all its history and exquisite architecture. Pick up the phone and reception always get a taxi there within 20 mins. What more can I say? Hacienda Zorita will undoubtedly call us back time and time again.

GGuest UserGood hotel, poor restaurant and impolite staff. The room looks nice and clean. We reserved a double bed for an extra price as a room with two single beds was 10 euro cheaper. At the reception, they told us that a double bed is only 1.50m width.... so we choose then go for 2 single beds, but they would not reduce the 10 euro from the price as we had booked already via credit card. The restaurant has a daily menu that we needed to scan via a QR code. We ordered from the daily menu. I ordered the first main dish on the menu card and I got the wrong dish. I ordered fish and I got pork. When telling this to the waiter, his answer was “this is the way we serve it in Spain, maybe it is different in your country “ . He showed us the menu and seems that the menu he had was different then from the hotel webpage that we scanned via the QR code he gave us. After a long discussion they realize their mistake and gave me my fish. My wife got a main dish which was so salty that she could not eat it. I tasted it and it was disgusting. When saying this to the waiter. He did not react. So very poor service and very unprofessional staff. So if you want only to sleep, then the rooms are great for the price. If you also want to use the restaurant then it is better to find another hotel in the neighborhood of Salamanca.

GGuest UserExcellent value for money. Located on the outskirts of Salamanca, in Santa Marta de Tormes, about 10 minutes' drive from the university campus, and about 8 kilometers of urban roads. This is a fairly large hotel complex; there is also a campsite with the same property in the complex, and they share some services, such as tennis courts, gardens and swimming pools. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. There is no parking problem. Good price.

GGuest UserLet me start by saying this is the most unwelcome hotel I have ever stayed in. Tripadvisor and *********** both clearly state the Spa was open on Sunday which was a major attraction after a long day’s driving as was the highly recommended restaurant. We were informed a few days prior to arriving that the Spa was now closed and 2 days before arriving that Restaurant and Bar were also closed. By that time we were already traveling and not able to change our journey to look for another hotel. Upon arriving the hotel was shrouded in darkness, we had to offload our overnight belongings in the dark garage, we felt we were the only ones staying there, which we later found was not the case. Naturally we were quite dismayed at the prospect of no food or drink. The receptionist was extremely rude and argumentative and accused us of having a bad attitude! He recommended the golfclub café up the road, which had just some deep fried tapas on offer, which were not bad incidentally but not what we came for. We were surprised to find our room was pretty much the furthest away you could possibly get from entrance given the hotel was mostly empty. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, rock hard basically, no airconditioning and no wi-fi. After an abominable night sleep the breakfast was not filling us with joy either. All the hot food, fried/scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage at the buffet was already stone cold at 8.30! This hotel should be stripped of it’s 4 stars as I would not even give it a 1 star status. If you cannot offer the 4 star facilities and service you should not charge the prices. False pretences springs to mind. I’m sure the rude receptionist will come up with a counter argument such as “the Spa is always closed on a Sunday and is not included in the price anyway” or something along those lines but this is not what’s advertised and what the guests expect when they reserve a room at the given prices! Avoid at all cost if you are looking for a pleasant hotel experience!

GGuest UserWe stayed 3 couples from 31/10 to 1/11 because we were overlooking. We loved staff attention and cleaning of the rooms. All was very good. A quite rustic and vintage site.By putting a stick was insonorization, as it was all heard. Otherwise it is very good to spend a night passed through Salamanca. Quality-price appropriate
