The Blue Bay Lodge was just amazing, friendly staff, loved my room. It did not want to leave . And who can forget the food was top notch.

Went to Blue Bay for a breakfast. Worst breakfast ever. Paid R85 for 2 eggs and 2 beacon rashers. Toast was not included. One smal parsley leaf as decoration. Asked for toast. Had to pay extra. Will never go there again service was also bad. The only good thing was the view.

I had a satisfactory experience during my 3-day stay. The room was cozy, clean and I had a beautiful view of the sea and Ore peer. Reception on arrival was friendly and warm. I was even escorted to my room where it was opened and shown to me. The only letdown for me was the availability of halaal food. It is clear that some staff members have no idea what this entails as I was presented with a "halaal-friendly" menu that included pork. I only had a choice out of 2 possible fish options, but it was prepared using separate utensils. So good on you for that and trying to accommodate Muslims. Other than that i was happy.

The self catering unit met all our needs. The enclosed garden was perfect for our small yorkies. The units are of decent size, comfortable beds.
The premises are well-maintained.
This is a perfect location to explore Langebaan and Paternoster.
R500 deposit is required upon check in.
Staff on duty complained about a check in complaint we had - very unprofessional.
