Quality Inn Salem - I-81

Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Must try the restaurant next door.

The mattress was to soft , not much counter space in bathroom, tub was kind of small if you wanted to take a bath

I stayed at hotel previously before this time and had to move rooms after Informes the property manager about seeing bedbugs when I checked bc I started getting huge whelps that was so itchy. Tht did nothing and didn't go by protocol when it came to extermination. Matter of fact they put other guest directly into same room!!! This time I couldnt sleep I stayed up all night prisoner to the restroom bc the bugs were so bad you could see bedbugs all over the sheets and comforter, didn't even have to look into the mattress. I called front desk about concern and issue and was to I'd switch rooms(they failed to do so) I asked for refund to change hotels and was refused!!! Was told it didn't matter my room was infested with bedbugs!!! It was awful!! These hotels demand a security deposit upon arrival for any damages done to their property but what about my property!!! They would not even refund my money towards room! Let alone money it cost to make sure days inns critters are distributed elsewhere. Something needs to be done about hotels that out people with bugs without a conscious . It's sad and inhuman really!!

Rooms very clean

The outfitting of the property was about what one would expect for this price point. It was fine. The upkeep of a few things in our room was below par. The bathtub leaked onto the floor, the toilet seat was loose and slid off the stool to the side, the sink faucets leaked onto the counter.

Front desk very helpful. Bed was very comfy!
