Outstanding from start to finish. Unforgettable stay. Within walking distance to Salento’s restaurants and bars, but completely isolated from the town and perched in the mountains. The staff are incredible, and the views are hypnotising.

This hotel has a great view and their food is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay there, the only issue is the road to reach the hotel. If it rains too much, the mud and the cliff makes it very hard to drive up in a regular car. We got the cabin with a very amazing view. Clean, comfortable and enjoyable!

Das Kawa ist das Übernachtungs-Highlight auf unserer Kolumbien Reise gewesen. Generell ein Highlight auf unseren vielen Reisen. Klein, fein, bis in letzte Detail liebevoll gestaltet. Die Zimmer mit einer überragenden Aussicht. Morgens hier aufzuwachen und abends schlafen zu gehen, man kann es gar nicht genug genießen. Was es zudem perfekt macht ist der Service. Selten so perfekte Abläufe gesehen, jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Hier wird der Gast auf Händen getragen. Ihr seid grandios. Auch die Getränkeauswahl kann sich sehen lassen. Das Essen Abends war sehr gut, die höheren Preise sind gerechtfertigt. Gerne würden wir wieder hierher kommen und länger bleiben.

Kawa was far and away the best place we stayed during our recent trip to Colombia. The hotel is a serene, idyllic retreat overlooking the rolling green mountains that lead to the Cocora Valley. Everything here was superb. The bamboo lodges offer the most spectacular views and perfect places to soak up the peacefulness of the retreat as you watch the birds and clouds roll by. The contemporary twists on traditional local food were exquisite and the jacuzzi and sauna were great after days of sightseeing and hiking. Luis and the team really went the extra mile to make our stay special, booking excursions, massages, taxis and providing us with lots of suggestions for Salento and nearby. We wished we could have stayed longer. If we ever return to Salento (or Colombia for that matter) we will be returning to Kawa.

This was a beautiful hotel near the town of Salento overlooking the gorgeous mountain scenery. The breakfast was good; they have a menu with around 6 options. It comes with fresh fruit and juice also. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was decorated very nicely- rustic chic. We ate at the restaurant one night, and the food was upscale and excellent. Our favorite part of Kawa was the hammock on our porch, but we also loved the jacuzzi after long days of hiking! Both gave us the amazing views over the valley. There is a small walking path in the woods (not lit) that takes you down to Salento town in 5 minutes. We got a little lost on our way back when it was dark, but we made it back eventually! We loved our stay here, and we think the accommodation made our time in Salento. Highly recommend!

Die Ferienhütten liegen auf einer Anhöhe mit schönem ins Tal sowie auf die Berge. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ausgiebiges Frühstück und im Restaurant kann man nur empfehlen. Da die Anlage etwas außerhalb liegt ist man auf eine Transportmöglichkeit angewiesen. Tagsüber kein Problem aber ab 22:00 etwas schwierig. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.
