It was a very bad check-in experience, because the location of the hotel is good, and guests from European and American countries have good reviews, so although I don't particularly like B&B and other hotels, I still booked a 90m2 suite with a balcony. But I was too disappointed after checking in, so I can only give one star: - Dishonesty, discriminating against Chinese guests: After arriving, I found that the rooms given were not the ones I booked at all (there are only 6 sets in total, and each set is decorated differently), so I immediately contacted the front desk by phone, but was told that all the rooms have been given out , I will talk about it the next day; the next day I saw the front desk and said that the originally reserved room would be vacant on the third day and I could move in, but said that the room was not actually downgraded. I said I could show her the photo of the reserved room, and she said yes in a while There is a problem with the reservation system. After a while, they say that they can't contact me. They shirk their responsibilities and don't even apologize. - The hygienic situation is worrying: the towels are black, and one day I saw the washed wet towels hanging on the shelf in the corridor; the bathroom in my room was painted red, and the water was red when I took a bath... - The facilities are old and inconvenient: the hotel is on the second floor of an old-fashioned building. The front desk was still there when we arrived on the first day. They helped us move two pieces of luggage. There was an elevator and I didn’t know if it was running. No one helped us on the last day. It was a bit of a struggle to move down; and the outside of the building was being repaired with scaffolding, so the room was already dark and now it was even darker -Breakfast: Breakfast is not in the hotel, you have to go to the corner cafe to eat or pack with meal coupons, only one croissant and one cup of coffee are limited So I do not recommend this small hotel

The RarityArt Mini Hotel was great. In a wonderful location to central Salerno, the Ferry terminal and the station. The check-in staff and the cleaning staff were friendly and so helpful and the unique design of the rooms was fun. The building is undergoing some slight renovations at the moment - I didn’t notice any noise or disturbance from it, but scaffolding is up so just thought people might want to know.

A completamento, tanta gentilezza e discrezione. Perfetto per stare a Salerno, visitare comodamente la Costiera Amalfitana e raggiungere senza difficoltà tutte le mete più turistiche della Campania, da Napoli e Pompei a Paestum in tranquillità.

As others have said, the building is shrouded in scaffolding, so looking out the window is not possible. No breakfast as advertised. The only employee is the housekeeper and a manager that is off property. Arriving on a weekend is a disaster and the only way you can get in the building is if someone is exiting the building since there is no staff. Once in the building, it was not easy where to access the hotel, NO SIGNAGE. The rooms are very nice, housekeeping is great and very good sized, but too many other negatives to overcome.

I would give this property a 5/10. It was very clean and the host was responsive. Unfortunately, the apartment did not meet the description ( described as 2 bdrm but it was 1 bdrm with a sleeper sofa in the kitchen room). The major concern was the construction. There was scaffolding all around including at my window, there was a terrible sewer smell, the area had open wires and wood supports in places, etc. We tried to stay elsewhere but everything in the area was booked.

A hidden (great) location in Salerno Well-located hotel, one step to the bay and downtown, also 5 minutes to the ferry for Positano and Amalfi. Cozy place with all the accessories needed on a trip, a well-maintained place in a historic building with the most friendly staff. We will return!!

Great location for visiting the Amalfi Coast Great location. Not too far to walk from the station or to the boats for the Amalfi Coast, or to loads of close by restaurants. The breakfast, at the café around the corner, was excellent. Anna and Massimo made us feel very welcome.
