Sali Bay Resort

Deutschsprachig geführtes Resort von Roberto;Lisa und Roberto. Alles toll organisiert und keine Probleme bei der Abrechnung (Achtung : Barzahlung !!!) Super Tauchgebiete; tolle Unterwasserwelt- leider nimmt die Umweltverschmutzung immer mehr zu. Im Resort werden die angeschwemmten Utensilien entsorgt/verbrannt. Täglich 2 Tauchgänge am Vormittag und einer am Nachmittag; Ausfahrt immer mit einem Tauchboot (Nachttauchgang ist auch möglich). Pro Tauchguide max. 6 Taucher. Wir waren zu viert und hatten immer den gleichen Guide; unser hieß Econ und hat uns viele Tauchhighlight zeigen können -＞ von Seepferdchen, diversen Nacktschnecken bis zu Haien, Buckelkopfpapageienfische und Rochen. Sehr entspanntes Tauchen, da das gesamte Tauchequipment von der Crew zum Boot und auch wieder von Bord gebracht wurde und anschließend ausgewaschen wurde. Die Unterbringung war in einem ＜60 qm Bungalow mit Klimaanlage und Ventilatoren. Alles sehr sauber und bequem. Es gab 3 Mahlzeiten am Tag, wobei Mittag und Abendessen immer warm war. Sehr gute Küche und mit täglich wechseldem Angebot.

Wij verbleven in juni, 11 nachten in het Salibay Resort op Salibay Kecil. Het is ons ontzettend goed bevallen. Het resort ligt aan een mooie baai op het eiland. De cottages staan direct aan zee en vanuit je kamer heb je ook zicht op zee. De kamer is zeer ruim en ook de badkamer die in de openlucht staat is prima, er is een regendouche aanwezig en tevens ook heerlijke shampoo en doucheschuim. Aangezien het koraal tot aan het strand ligt kan je via de steiger de zee in of anders via een doorgang tussen het koraal, dus niet zo vanuit je huisje. Er is tevens een mooi zwembad aanwezig en een spa. De massages zijn een aanrader. Het verblijf is all-inclusief. Het eten was ontzettend goed. Wij hebben nog nooit zo lekker gegeten op een resort. Je hebt elke dag een keuze uit een menu, een 4 gangen lunch menu en een 5 gangen diner. Echt voortreffelijk. Wij kwamen hier om te duiken. De duikschool bevindt zich eveneens op het resort. De boten zijn ruim, de duiken waren fantastisch. Er is stroming aanwezig, maar men probeer duikstekken uit te kiezen waar weinig tot geen stroming aanwezig is. Er zijn wel thermoclines. Het water is smaragdgroen van kleur en het zicht was prima. Het koraal is nog gezond en er is weinig tot geen dood koraal en ook weinig verbleking aanwezig. Ook waren wij vaak de enige duikers. Mocht je interesse hebben in een duikvakantie naar de Molukken kan ik jullie dit resort absoluut aanraden. Ze krijgen van mij een dikke negen!

Das Sali Bay-Resort auf der Insel Sali-Kecil/Indonesien ist eine super schöne Anlage für Taucher, wunderschöne Riffe! Wir waren dort vom 20.04.-10.05.24 schon das 2. Mal (1.mal 2018) und können dieses Resort nur empfehlen. Schöne Bungalows, sehr gutes Essen, sehr gutes Management und überaus freundliches Personal. War wieder ein toller Tauchurlaub!

Absolutely fantastic location, both above and below water. Had a super nice, clean and well-kept bungalow on the beach. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the meals were exactly to our taste. As divers with worldwide experience, we were pleasantly surprised by the spots, but everyone on board was also very helpful and we had a lot of fun together. At this point we would like to thank the two diving guides Aldo and Emang for their commitment. The jetty to the boats shown in the picture is now covered with a solar roof, a very sensible initiative in terms of sustainability ;-)

The Professionalism, Availability, Kindness of your staff, in all areas, Room, Restaurant, Diving is commendable. An extra point for the cuisine, excellent combination of local offerings and international dishes prepared and presented very well (I always looked forward to lunch and dinner with great pleasure). Resort, diving, staff, food (choice of Italian or Indonesian cuisine), exceptional diving. This year we did 47 dives, of which 13 were unique at night. We underline the fact that unlike other equally beautiful places in Indonesia, we have never met divers from other resorts or boats. Ideal place for a photo diver who loves macro photography (over 2000 photos taken).

I will never forget my almost 3-week stay at the Sali Bay Resort in the northern Moluccas (Halmahera Selatan/Maaluku Utara). I can say without exaggeration that this holiday was by far the most relaxing and intense holiday of my life. The Sali Bay Resort is a small paradise surrounded by untouched nature full of biodiversity, far away from mass tourism. If you are looking for complete deceleration, peace and deep relaxation, this is the place for you. More relaxation is simply not possible. The journey Lisa, the manager of the resort, was always on hand to help me with any problems I might have had with my journey. My journey from Jakarta via Ternate to Halmahera went smoothly thanks to the good organization. Lisa arranged a guide for me who picked me up from the airport in Ternate and went on a great island tour with me. It makes sense to plan short stays when arriving and departing via Jarkarta, Manado or Ternate in order to be able to see the islands. I was picked up from Labuha airport and then took the speedboat to the island, which is 25 km away and about 50 minutes to the resort, where I was warmly welcomed. This genuine warmth and family atmosphere was to accompany me throughout my entire stay. Lisa showed me my beach villa and gave me time to settle in on the island. And I needed it. Because I was completely overwhelmed by the first impression alone. The management Lisa was always concerned about the well-being of the guests. She always responded to all of the guests' wishes and needs and made them possible if they were somehow feasible. She was also always good for one or two small, unexpected surprises and managed to sweeten the stay for me and the other guests even more and make the time an exceptional stay for each individual. The beach villa: Is very spacious, clean and furnished with great attention to detail. It is equipped with air conditioning that always works, a fan and a minibar. A large, comfortable bed in which I slept like I was on clouds, a large wardrobe, warm showers. Always clean bathrooms. The terraces of the villas border directly on the sea. At high tide, the water is only 2 meters away from me when I lie on my terrace. At low tide, large parts of the house reef are exposed. I really don't know how many hours of my vacation I spent just lying on this, my terrace, where nobody disturbed me... enjoying the view right by the sea and listening to the sound of the ocean.
