The service at the reception was great, at the breakfast buffet it was not so good, we asked the girl if she could please make us some tortillas, she would stare at us and when we told her that there was no hot milk left in the buffet to put in the coffee too She looked at us very seriously and answered us quite dryly, the other girl and the boy, however, were very nice. The cleaning in the room was not entirely good, there were stains on the floor that had not been cleaned and a lot of dust, especially above the desk light. The location is great and the hotel is very nice.

My husband and I had a week away from Barcelona staying at this adults only hotel. The reception staff were all friendly but especially Bea who was extremely helpful with things to go and see whilst we were here as the weather was not the best. Rooms were really nice, clean and tidy, with comfortable beds, but the pillows not so comfy. Could have done with a table on the balcony too. Breakfast was a good choice with the option to order freshly cooked too and the staff were friendly and kept the place ticking over nicely. The spa was a bit of a disappointment as it only has steam room and sauna and a jacuzzi for 8 people, so we only used once and the games room was not available durin the week due to conference. Fortunately we had our own cards and dominoes. Overall a good visit to Salou, where we visited Cambrils, Tarragona, Reus and Sama Park out of tourist season. I am sure it would be buzzing come Easter onwards. Thanks to the Magnolia Team for the great overall service.

September 14th 2024. The good. I have been to this hotel before, in late September of 2015. Not much changed in terms of room or amenities as far as I can remember. It has always been a very good hotel in Salou. Clean, spacious rooms, good beds and awesome showers, great pool area for those windy days, close to the beach and nice restaurant La Gaviota right across the street. Very good security and next to grocery chain store Michelangelo. The bad. In my hotel experience I have never met a front person that was more unfriendly, unwelcoming and snobbish than this gentleman named Alpha. This guy acted like he was a descendant of some African Royal family that was forced to work front desk the minute we walked in and had some questions. Not a single smile, snobbish answers to normal questions. Maybe he forgot that he works in hospitality business? Just silly, pretentious attitude and mannerisms. Everyone else was very helpful and friendly. In particular I want to mention and thank Valeria. Rest of the gentlemen were also great.

Good location, beach at end of road and good supermarket opposite. Short walk to number of good restaurants. Rooms spacious. Issue with bad smell from the shower room, especially bad when returning to the room at tea time. Breakfast excellent, lots of choices. Staff in restaurant were very helpful and friendly. No kettle in room but one was supplied as soon as we asked. Pool area in need of updating, lots of loose boards and broken sun beds. €5 a night for the safe is excessive for something that is already in the room.

Front concierges switch shifts with sister hotel Blaumar which is considered to be an upgrade so I felt like he wasn't happy being at Magnolia shift. Thank to all African Gods he was the only front person that had something up his behind. Everyone else was very helpful and friendly. In particular I want to mention Valeria. She helped me late night to get hot tea to the room when my wife caught a light cold. Rest of the gentlemen were also great. Except this Alpha who is more like a Kappa.

Lovely little hotel - All the staff are super friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are large, very clean, huge comfy bed, complimentary water in the fridge (although wasn't replaced daily) and the bathroom had the biggest shower area I've ever seen.... We had B&B and the breakfast was really good, freshly squeezed OJ, fab choice of pastries and fresh eggs cooked to your liking. The pool area was nice with sun all day however it could do with a freshening up, the beds are old and some are broken and the pool has some loose screws and rotting wood around however this did not detract from the lovely stay we had. So many bars and restaurants nearby and a very short walk to the beach . Would definately reccommend this lovely hotel :-)

Maravilloso hotel. Además nos dieron una habitación superior en la sexta planta, grande, ducha enorme, cómoda y terraza. El desayuno esta bien, variado y mucha calidad. La piscina sin niños es una gozada...tranquilidad y placer. Mención especial a la amabilidad de Bea, atenta, simpática y excelente profesional. Sin duda acertamos con este hotel.
