I stayed at the hotel for a business trip, and the location was very convenient as it was adjacent to the convention center. It was located downtown, so going to the mall or other tourist attractions was good. However, the bedding was not washed and ironed. All 4 pillows had a musty smell, and even after room cleaning in the middle, the condition was the same. So I couldn't tell if the bedding was changed or not. Also, I mistakenly booked the check-in date and added one extra day when I checked in. But it seems necessary to check as it is charged at the average price of 2 days. However, I did not receive any receipt or billing documents after check-out via e-mail or a printed one.

This place gets a 3 stars during the week and 1 star on the weekend due to the load noise coming from the club next door until the early hours of the morning. Parking is sketchy and is overall feels very unsafe. Some of this may be typical in a downtown environment, but I think think there are better options in the vacinity.

Just the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel - systems not working well, no solutions, and I ended up cancelling. The security, the service, the building maintenance were bad. I don’t even know if this is really a Marriott hotel as it was owned and operated by two other companies - BK Hotel LLC and operated by Woodbury Corporation under a license by Marriott or one of its affiliates. The worst experience I have had with a hotel or motel.

Nice property in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with special requests. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The bedding is very comfortable as well. I'd definitely recommend this property on your next visit to SLC.

I dare you to look for a hotel that’s more convenient, cleaner, friendlier, up-to-date, and of good value in Salt Lake. From the modern decor to the amazingly friendly staff, I want to go back just to get to stay at this hotel again! On my last morning there, I noticed a group of what seemed to be hotel employees meeting in a small room off to the side. I found out it was indeed hotel employees – and the owner – who was grateful for my high praise of the property. I can sincerely say this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

Dirty and Noisy! The first night of our stay I reached up in the cupboard to get a clean bowl and it was full of a previous "Guest's" spit out cherry pits and stems! The front desk offered to send up a housekeeper with clean bowls, which she did. No offer of compensation was made. We received a box of chocolate truffles and a note of apology in our room. The next door nightclubs started in at 8:00pm every night and continued until 1:00 am. Thumpity-Thumpity-Thump, shaking the walls and making sleep impossible. Finally, the heating/cooling wall unit was broken on the last night. It would rattle on for 20 seconds, then stay off for 20 minutes, then repeat the process. The thermostat setting made no difference at all. When I called about it at 2:00am I was told the there was no engineer on duty at that hour. Skip the frustration. Save your money. Don't stay here.

L'hôtel est idéalement situé dans SLC. Proche de quelques clubs mais je n'ai eu aucun problème lié au bruit. La chambre était propre et fonctionnelle avec une petite kitchenette. Le lit et les draps étaient propres. La salle de sport était fonctionnelle avec des machines ainsi que des poids libre. Le petit déjeuner était servi dans le lobby, il était gratuit et plutôt correct, mais manque de choix en général. Un bon hôtel, je recommande.

The hotel is in a good location but if you stay on a weekend be prepared for very very loud music from 2 clubs that surround the hotel. As another said the parking lot is convenient but definitely a little sketchy at night. We stayed Saturday to Tuesday and Saturday you could definitely hear the club music and male and female were screaming arguing outside my room. Sunday and Monday night there was no noise at all. The rooms are spacious and maybe a little dated but not the worst. The location is great as it is just a few blocks from many pubs and restaurants. The front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful. The room service never showed up when they were supposed to come every other day. Our garbage was overflowing and on the last day we ran out of toilet paper and had to hunt down a lady who was cleaning another room. The 2 best things are location and price for this hotel. I am not sure I will book again.
