Hotels near Lamice Modas, Salvador

This hotel is simple but it has everything you need. The pool is great and the internet connection by the pool works better than the rooms. It is located near restaurants, bars, groceries stores, and pharmacies. Breakfast could improve. I wish they had more local tropical fruits. However, breakfast is simple but well served. Located just steps from the beach, which is calm and not lots of waves. Good for kids.

You're going to get away from this place. You're treating the client with total disrespect and disrespect. I booked for Booking 20 days before the trip. When I arrived at the check-in, the hotel team reported that it had no rooms available, that the rooms were not in a position to receive guests and therefore were blocked, and that Booking was making the rooms available for an error of the hotel. Booking systems and they had no way to change that. They said it was not possible to contact who booked because Booking does not provide any form of contact, which is a lie because I received a confirmation email with a message from the ”Team Oyo” a few days after booking. It was so lie that the next day the No-Show fee was still collected and they sent a message saying I didn't appear after confirming the reservation. the lack of communication between the network managers and the hotel team, and I am thinking of the state of conservation of the rooms to have such treatment. we were not the only, during the time we tried to solve had other 3 guests who arrived and had the I had to look for another hotel at 21:00, after hours of travel and rainfall, with travel costs.

This hotel does what it does well for the low cost. It is in a good location in a safe area of town. A rocky beach (not for swimming) is right outside, and although the rooms don't directly look out to sea, it was nice to be able to hear the ocean. The staff are friendly and helpful and although many speak some English, it is useful to be able to speak a little Portuguese . Breakfast was good, but dinner less so - on the night I ate in the restaurant the buffet wasn't on, and I suspect this would be better than ordering off the menu. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. Overall no complaints for the cost.

For the British amongst you .. think travel lodge / premier inn and that what this is . It’s basic , and old basic . We had the top floor sea-view room . It’s basic . Just a sheet on the bed a small old chair and tiny table . No tea or coffee making ( probably because of Covid ). A weird layout in the room I think to try to accommodate the view Travel lodge style wardrobe and shelving . If you are looking for a lovely romantic break I do not recommend this place . All that said it’s a nice location by the sea with a beach. ( no beds) The pool is small but nice . Again a bit 3 star . The staff are all excellent I can speak Portuguese so I’m not sure about how well they cater if you can’t speak Portuguese. This is not where the historical attractions of Salvador are , for that you need to take a bus or a taxi . There are lots of places to eat or drink in the evening nearby so you isn’t need to go anywhere at night if you don’t want to . The breakfast was ok . Again think travel lodge . All self service . No English tea . Personally I world definitely not stay here again or recommend it , but it depends on what you are expecting. If you are a foreigner visiting Salvador .. I would say stay in the central area in a small pousada.. do 2 nights , see the sights then go to a proper beach resort. They are about 50k away . This place is not one thing or the other .

The lift and the corridor are ugly and old. The frigobar has ferrugem, the furniture is leaving, the toilet paper porter, poorly finished facilities savoner bathroom pia, bathroom pia = dentist cuba of so small, puddled and sleeved beds, incardated bath clothes, single and super narrow single beds and low looks like children, bad beds, full-shaped bed mirror, infiltration into the entrance wall, behind the door; roughly rough; lack of waste in the kitchen. I am very disappointed with what I found, disconsistent and harmed because I paid for a misleading hosting. I heard you have flats in better conditions, but you are busy (!). And the customer pays for that? I am very unhappy, rebelled. I would like to be compensated for what I paid to get out of here and go to better accommodation. Flat 1408. This hotel can be considered well located if you are traveling by car or if you have no problem taking a taxi, uber or similar, all of this because, although the neighborhood is good, it does not offer any of the attractions of Salvador by foot. Aware of that, you can come, but pay attention, don't expect too much, the accommodation is good but old, the lobby is large but dark, the breakfast is relatively full of food but always crowded and in order to get one ”tapioca” or an omelette this will require some of your patience in the row. I tried to go to the gym but even during the pandemic it was full of people, maybe because of the location next to the pool or even because of the usual number of guests at the end of the year. Even so, we were well taken care of during the period we stayed at the Bahia hotel and I would return without any major problems.

the room was very good as well as the air condicioned, the cleaning, also the breakfast, the food and my special thanks to the patissier he makes delicious desserts, i wib two kilos because of that... I also want to thank all the staff for their kind attention and excellent simpatie.

I stayed for 6 days and loved the hotel, excellent location, exceptional breakfast, always with animal protein options besides eggs, many breads and cakes, the bed of the room was very comfortable and the excellent linens, Hotel staff (mainly women) very nice and educated, the shower of the room a delicious

After a not very calm flight trip across the Atlantic, this Hotel made us feel really confortable since the time we arrive. It doesn't take long to reach from the airport and it is just by the beach, so it was a wonderful place to arrive when one comes from a winter tempest in Europe. The pool is marvellous! It has hot water and it is large enough to not feel crowded. The breakfast had everything I could wish for, fruits, many breads, and even more substancial foods. The staff was extremely helpful. I also felt safe and enjoyed being on the beach. Many nice beaches are very close by, as well as the Farol de Itapoã . We really enjoyed our stay.

In my journey to the Savior I stayed hospitable in him when I arrived and one day before I returned. (day 03/02 and day 08/02) The room that placed us in the first hosting was good, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was good, only that it had a threat to one person and we were a couple. The room they put us in our second stay was bad, the bed was extremely soft, the bathroom was all flooded by leaving water from the shower box, the room available was just a shampoo. The breakfast coffee is reasonable, it's simple and few options. The water served in the jar is of the tower and has a strong taste of chlorine. The reception staff are not the most receptible. Only a woman who doesn't remember my name took my doubt about the dinner they served and was well educated, because the guy who was taking me up was not taking care of.
