Although the room is a bit old, it is warm and comfortable. Very quiet. I slept very well at night.

The room is comfortable, the facilities are complete, and the service is enthusiastic. The environment is very beautiful, in the middle of the mountain, the scenery is very good, it should be the first choice for tourism and vacation. However, you need to rent a car and drive yourself, it is a 20-minute drive from the old town.

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with great views. The rooms are not big, and it is an old hotel with unique features, suitable for short-term stays.

I like this hotel very much, it is super beautiful🤩, It is suitable to stay here and slowly feel the wind, the flowers and plants, and the quiet life. There are few Chinese people here, leaving beautiful memories

The hotel environment is very good and beautiful! The hotel is halfway up the mountain, the environment is very good, the air is fresh, and the scenery is beautiful! The hotel's dining menu may also change every week. If there are reviews from last week, you may not have them this week.

Driving out of busy Salzburg up into the hills above to the Gersberg Alm we were greeted by a beautiful chalet with flowers, trees, & pastures. They have a full restaurant so we had a light lunch. They view down to Salzburg was so nice that we just stayed up in the hills rather than walk the city. Its only a short 10 minute drive to the city and you will do best with your own car. There is plenty of free parking. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with that view. This is family run hotel of the finest quality. Breakfast & dinners were of the best quality. The staff are all willing to help out. There isn't a lift but the staff was quick to help with luggage. This was a great place to stay.

We had high expectations of our stay but were disappointed. The location of the property is beautiful, as you would expect on a mountain, and the outdoor pool was a luxury plus, having a good size and nice lounge chairs. The ladies at the reception were also extremely polite and helpful. Our luxury room was dated though but again with a lovely view. I reserved a table for dinner but when we arrived we found the staff eating and they seemed to be surprised by our arrival. Some items on the very short menu were nog available and the chosen fried chicken was of awful quality. It was still cold on the inside, aparantly just defrosted, and there was water coming out when cutting open. The waitress didn't ask if everything was ok, didn't ask anything during our dinner. When she took away our plates, which we could not finish so bad, we dared to mention our dislike, she rolled here eyes. Not getting a tip afterwards made here even more unfriendly. She was not able to say goodbye. The breakfast experience next morning was better. The (Hungarian) staff was very friendly but it occurred to me that the buffet was very plain with limited choice. For us the one night stay didn't meet our expectations and the price is no value for money. Read 269e for a room.

We went here to celebrate our engagement, beautiful views, charming cottage, wonderful food, and a spacious room. We would definitely come back again.

Wonderful view and a very calm stay. Highly recommended for a short stay.

This hotel is a fairytale experience. Staff can’t do enough for you. Setting is magical as is the ambience in the hotel. Food in the restaurant is top notch. Breakfast was amazing exceptional omelettes. Just book you won’t regret it. We have already book for next June.

I really liked the restaurant at the hotel. It is a bit pricy but definitly worth it to eat there. The hotel is up on the hill with really nice view on Salzburg

Hotel located on one of the hills around Salzburg, overlooking this wonderful city and approximately 5 km from it. Very quiet area, not very large hotel, attentive service, although they spoke in German and some English, the breakfast was very complete and excellent, but at dinner I found that simpler dishes were missing apart from those they had on the menu, which were quite good. elaborate and quite expensive and with many sauces, the room for 4 people that they gave us was like a mini apartment, with a kitchenette and views of the forest, it was very spacious, with lots of natural light and very clean. It even had a small sauna. They had an outdoor pool. To say something negative, I would say that they needed an elevator to go up the 2 floors of the hotel.

Unfortunately, it is a sad truth that after years of satisfied stays, the tables have turned. Here, the extremely unfriendly staff rules the manager of the house. It seems that he has preferred to alienate old regular guests out of fear of losing staff. In the past, you would meet the friendly staff from last year every year. This time - after the corona years - new and really uneducated unfriendly staff. Arrogance towards the guests of the grossest kind. Sad, but no longer recommended. And, also amazing - nothing has happened during the corona period. No improvement or adaptation of the house...
