Arte Hotel Salzburg

Good location and view. The only good points. Room was bare, basic hotel amenities such as slippers and kettle not available, even coffee and tea are not complimentary and needs to be purchased. Booked an extended room but it looks exactly the same as a normal room and hotel insisted it is an extended room. Shower has a strong sewer smell and curtains were very dirty. Wifi was terrible, even normal 5G signal is weak in room. Had to stand at the door to use the internet. Definitely not worth the price.

Location is good ! 2mins walk from Salzburg HBF, surrounding a lot of food stalls. Hotel will provide guest mobility ticket, and complimentary drinks ( coke, sparking water & beer). It’s easy to take their public transportation to all their attractions. Overall ALL GOOD, the only flaw is we didn’t know that there’s no toilet door in our hotel, more suitable for couples 😁

Hotel was just close to the Salzburg Hbf main train station where easily to access around, opposite the hotel also have Billa supermarket so can easily hunt some food and need at there. Upon check-in you may request the Salzburg city transport pass for free based on the day you stayed in this hotel… Room setup was great, aircon and WiFi works well, bed was comfy, with small fridge but no kettle. The only downside was the shower area was just a pcs of fix glass so when bath the water may easily splash out the makeup area. Overall is a good stay for me. Thank you Arte Hotel Salzburg.

Overall, my stay at this hotel was quite disappointing, with only a few positive aspects worth mentioning. The main advantage of this hotel is its convenient location, as it is situated near a train station, making it easy to get around. I also appreciated the daily housekeeping service and the regular refill of the minibar, which was a nice touch. However, there were several issues that affected the overall experience. The reception staff (lady) were not welcoming and did not greet guests with a smile, which gave a poor first impression. More concerning was the lack of proper support when we encountered a problem with the room heating. Despite multiple attempts to adjust it ourselves, it did not work. When we reported this to the reception (lady), the staff’s response was unhelpful and came across as dismissive, as if we did not know how to use the system. Although another staff member (guy) mentioned they would check on it, the issue was never resolved. As a result, we had to endure two very cold nights. Additionally, the bathroom design was impractical. The shower had no door, causing water to splash all over the bathroom floor. On top of that, housekeeping did not consistently replace bath towels, which was inconvenient. In summary, while the location and some housekeeping aspects were good, the service quality and room facilities need significant improvement.

Location is great, room is clean, average city hotel. Roof top view is nice, specially on breakfast. Small gym and sauna. My stay wasn’t that much comfortable as I have checked in late, sleep late and wakes up early. All charging outlets in the room is not functioning on my phone charger, could be doesn’t fit well, as I move to other and it worked. I have checked out no one on Front Office Desk, mini Bar drinks are inclusive.
