Nice room and shower in the hotel, breakfast was excellent and the staff stayed later than usual to allow us to check in in the evening. Please be warned the desk is not 24 hours so make sure you’d arrive in time for check in.

The location is slightly away from the city center, but the environment is very good, with green trees, fresh air, and there is a No. 6 bus directly to the four-star hotel in the city center. You can store luggage and communicate in English smoothly!

This hotel is the worst hotel I have ever encountered. When I arrived at the front desk after 11 o'clock in the middle of the night, there was no one there. I couldn't get in through the hotel door and couldn't get through the phone. I had already paid for the hotel room, so I dragged my luggage in at midnight. If you don’t go to the hotel, the Ctrip platform won’t resolve the issue in the end and won’t give you a refund. Bad review, bad review, bad review.

Although it's a bit far from the city, it's about 10 minutes away by tram, so it wasn't inconvenient at all. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable to stay in.

The hotel is a bit like an all-season hotel, clean and comfortable. There are lush sycamore trees outside the balcony. It is very comfortable to sit on the balcony with the fresh air blowing on your face. There is a bus stop at the door. If you drive by yourself, there is a free parking lot at the door of the hotel, which is also very convenient. It's a ten-minute drive from Salzburg Fortress, very close. Toiletries and slippers are not provided, you need to bring your own.

Our travel agent booked the hotel for us. Each and every staff member is caring, warm and helpful. From front desk to the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and super clean. It’s a quick bus ride to the old town (#6). There are many healthy and delicious choices at breakfast.

I write this review on the last day in my room at the Heffterhof Hotel in Salzburg. I started my stay here with my family on a tour, but got sick with COVID on the night we arrived. From the following day, as my family had to continue on back to our country, the Heffterhof Hotel staff cared for me like family. From management to the front desk, from the kitchen to the cleaning staff, everyone pitched in and went out of their way to make my stay and recovery as comfortable as possible. This service required way more effort than the normal guest as I had no family there to help me. But they checked in on me and brought me food and drinks. They brought tissues and extra towels. They ordered food out for me when the kitchen was closed. Instead of being treated like someone in quarantine, I felt like a member of the family being helped back to health. Customer service is always important in the hospitality business, but when things are going really badly for the guest, the kind of support I received at Heffterhof Hotel means everything to you. stayed there already a few times during the last years as it is located opposite my parents home. They keep continuing the same good level of service so you always know what to exspect. Rooms and hotel is really clean and well cared for though the room amenities are more 3 than 4 star, staff very friendly and helpful. But it is mostly a Seminar hotel and not mainly for tourists so thats ok. Though there are tourists as well as there is a big parking lot, quiet location and a bus stop opposite with a direct bus right into the center of the city. In my opinion the best thing is the breakfast with a big selection of everything.

Hotel with attention to environmental impact, a little outside the town center but with the bus stop (line 6) in front of the entrance which allows you to reach the center in 10 minutes and the central station in 20. Very young and friendly staff, but the price is a little expensive compared to similar structures.

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel 2.3km from the center of Salzburg. It was an excellent choice for 3 reasons: 1st because outside the hotel there is a bus stop (number 6) which leaves you in front of you in 7 minutes to the bridge in the historic center and in the month of August it is free. 2) an incredible silence because it is practically surrounded by greenery 3) because the parking is free. Friendly and courteous staff, very helpful and good and plentiful breakfast. If possible I recommend the rooms with the balcony. Worth a try

The Hotel Heffterhof is somewhat hidden in a residential area, but nevertheless logistically so good, as you can walk to the city center in a maximum of 30 minutes or take the number 6 bus. The reservation Very good by email or through a booking portal and very friendly and obliging in tone. The greeting The young, mostly female people were very friendly, tried to find solutions and were exemplary. However, the so-called "head of reception" turned out to be a bit of a ****. Without listening carefully, he gave unqualified answers and relativized the very good impression of his colleagues. It was clear that the colleagues were also uncomfortable. To the so-called boss: take an example from your colleagues and if you can't do that or harbor resentment against people from your neighboring country, then please change industry. The room Very nice and large, clean with a separate toilet and a separate bathroom. It was only loud when other people in the hallway were talking loudly at night. Now and then the smell of food got caught in our room. The breakfast was very good in all areas with lots of regional products, whether it was savoury or sweet, hot or cold. The service was extremely friendly and courteous. Our recommendation: We would be happy to come back - but maybe only when the receptionist has learned something new.

The rooms are nice and clean. The furnishings are modern and simple. The breakfast is very tasty and varied. A huge plus are the many organic products at breakfast👍🏻 There is also a free parking lot directly opposite the hotel.

The hotel is very well located. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the S-Bahn stops a few minutes' walk away. Tickets are sold for €4.50 at reception and are valid for 24 hours. There is a small supermarket around the corner and a restaurant just a few minutes' walk away. If you come by car, you can park for free in a car park directly across the street. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. Towels, soap, shampoo, hairdryer, TV, closet, luggage rack. There are blankets and an extra pillow in the closet. The minibar can be filled if required. The size of our double room was good and there was enough space. The WiFi works well. The breakfast was very good and had enough to suit every taste.

The Heffterhof is a modern hotel with a high level of comfort. Very friendly staff, modern rooms, regional organic breakfast at moderate prices. We had a pleasant stay. We can recommend the hotel 100%.
