If you're going on the country to escape the city's heat - and then the roof room is much warmer than the city apartment - then there's something! Even the small ventilator is only noisy and brings nothing. It is so hot that you can only sleep with open balcony door, but the hangs are too thin and not light-density, the sun is shining in the morning and it is dawn. Sleep is no longer possible from around 7 a.m. The kitchenette is located right next to the balcony, making it sound and smells strong to eat. Otherwise the room is very nicely renovated. The bathroom is also halfway OK, only in the shower the shower head does not hold on the bar and to open the window you need to climb into the bathtub. The location is not just the best, the center is about 1km away, the lake is not seen either. The bathing beach is about 500 m walking. There are too few bedrooms, sunscreens and no toilet or shower. There is a completely hygienic manco for so many people! Even in the neighbouring cafe you cannot go, even if you want to drink something you're noticed: only for home guests or you pay entry 6. - Unfortunately the area is totally destroyed by mass tourism! Parking outside the hotel is not enough. However, the food is very good, the staff very friendly and helpful. Small career for this hotel class: use for the use of the room safe and filling the minibar every 30. - Eur and the summit is reached when you consume a bottle of wine at 32. - Eur and then still without notice 1. - Eur extra is charged for a caraffee pipe water. We have just had the most fantastic 7 nights at this charming hotel in St Wolfgang, just a few minutes walk from the lake. The whole Wolfgangsee area is beautiful, and this family run hotel is the perfect place to stay while you explore. Staff are so helpful, rooms are a lovely size and spotlessly clean! As for the breakfast….just incredible! So much choice and beautifully presented on lovely cake stands. I even had my own vegetarian platter! Swimming in the lake at the private beach area was perfect- especially in the mini heatwave the area was experiencing! Thank you family Furian, we loved our stay!

After dinner, I drove more than an hour from Salzburg to Lake Wolfgang. It was very late to the hotel. It was the last room. We arrived. The clerk stopped the car for us in the small courtyard. The room key was given to us and refused. Tip, lock the door and leave. The hotel is right by the lake, the breakfast is very rich, the environment is very good and beautiful!

The White Horse Hotel on Lake Wolfgang is well-deserved and the hotel is almost an attraction. It is located in the heart of the town, next to the town’s church, the hotel’s swimming pool and Wolfgang Lake are close to each other and can be conveniently located at the lake. Swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools of the hotel. The hotel breakfast is not particularly rich, but the variety and taste are also quite satisfactory, but the dinner at the lake view restaurant is definitely worth a try, the taste is amazing, not the ordinary Michelin knife and fork. The only downside of the hotel is that the hot water temperature is not stable and it is easy to get cold and hot. After living, there is a question, how can this be just a four-star hotel?

To not evaluate in the emulation, I have left my time to write my impressions here today. It was already at the end of May 2023, when I and my family, we 4 together with our baby, that restaurant of the landhouse at Appesbach in St. Wolfgang at Wolgang Lake. A special experience, they believe me it was like in the 7th sky. In the Appesbach country house you are not only a guest, no, you are a friend and you feel just great and very welcome. The staff and here I would like to highlight Mr Thomas Peterseil and Mr Christopher Pinegger very specifically, in his friendliness and preference, there are only a few houses in Austria, who can enjoy such friendly staff. The food and wine recommendations of the two gentlemen were so perfect that we have just empty two bottles of which we recommended. The foods of Thomas Höfler and Lucas Mitter are looking for their same. Fresh, regionally wonderfully prepared and very lying on the table, the Gaumen's joy was no longer to stop. I can only say one, once Appesbach always Appesbach. I wish the management, let them lose these 4 Lords we have had to meet, they are just great and wonderful. Here is the guest emperor. Only ended up here by pure chance and at the last minute. But what a surprise! The location is spectacular, with a clear view of Lake Hallstatt from almost 1000m. Nature and peace all around. There is a house that has been freshly peeled off the shower, and as you approach it you almost start whispering. And inside? You think you've found yourself in a library. Cozy tables and seating areas invite you to linger, a fireplace certainly contributes to the great atmosphere in winter, on the wall and on the tables and actually everywhere in the hotel: books, books, books... Books that are waiting to be leafed through, discovered, read, read through and finished. The boss says there are 12 thousand at the moment and thanks to the cooperation with many publishers, the number is growing regularly. Shoes are taken off at the entrance, which turns the usual hotel experience on its head. This also means that you can sneak pleasantly quietly through the extremely beautifully designed rooms. A cozy self-service bar with selected wines, local soft drinks and even French champagne leaves nothing to be desired. Plus the latest technology - an app opens the doors, the comfortable bed, and even reads to you if you want! Breakfast is available all day (!) and you won't go hungry in the evening either, you'll find something either in the hotel or in a nearby inn. It's such a special and relaxing place, you just don't want to leave. And yes, the reading hotel also has a TV in the room :)

This hotel is a fairytale experience. Staff can’t do enough for you. Setting is magical as is the ambience in the hotel. Food in the restaurant is top notch. Breakfast was amazing exceptional omelettes. Just book you won’t regret it. We have already book for next June.
