The hotel is located very conveniently.On the one hand, in a quiet place next to a shady boulevard, roses and fountains, on the other, within walking distance to the main attractions. such as Registan Square. Polite and highly qualified staff, comfortable room with large bathroom and a decent sized fridge. . The breakfast is very satisfying: pancakes, scrambled eggs, porridge, cheese, butter, bread, dried fruits, sweets, tea / coffee. We will definitely return to this hotel again with ours friends annd families.

The hotel is very new, far away from the busy city and very quiet. The hardware is very good, just like the pictures on Ctrip. The breakfast is rich. The guys at the front desk are very nice and can communicate easily in English. Friends traveling with us all said that this hotel was a treasure. Especially the environment around the hotel is comfortable and comfortable, especially suitable for a stroll under the sunset. The evening in Central Asia is very refreshing. There is a newly opened carnival a few hundred meters away from the hotel, with DJs several stories high who are having fun with music and lights. The snacks inside are delicious and not expensive, and there is also a commercial street modeled after a mosque, which is crowded with people. The hospitable Uzi people will take photos with Chinese people when they see them. Although I can't understand what they say, I can feel their happiness and sincerity. A very nice hotel in traditional style, and also very quiet and comfortable. I came here travelling solo to Asia for the first time and was a very pleasant surprise. I had a king size bed and private bathroom for a price which we can only dream about in Europe (incredibly cheap!) and breakfast is also very good and it includes Russian style fritters, cold meats, omelettes or fried eggs, teas or coffees, bread, cheese, butter, cucumbers, tomatoes… all included. There are balconies and a very nice internal garden to chill out in. Rooms are very big. I had to change my plans and check out earlier due to personal reasons, yet I will definitely come back. Also the staff was also very friendly and kind. The only little problem… some of them can not speak English.

It belongs to the suburbs, almost 11 kilometers away from the attractions in the center of Samarkand, and Huashan Road is very blocked. I thought it was convenient to communicate with the Chinese hotel. How could I think there was no Chinese waiter. . . I knew it was better to live in the city. Because the new decoration is very heavy, of course it is clean and very clean. Only personal experience!

Diyor Hotel is definitely a go. It’s in Registan Square vicinity and super near to anything. There’s a restaurant beside the hotel if you want a quick bite or if you decide to skip breakfast that the hotel provide. About the room, I have no complains. They have hot showers, dryer, electric kettle, blankets, aircon and tv. If you have an issue with your room, politely ask for a change. They will gladly do it. On the first day I came, my door was unable to lock. However, they immediately gave me a new room without any fuss. Also, twice I came down late for my complimentary breakfast. But there’s an elderly woman whom I called ‘Ama’ helped made me a nice one on both occasions. If case you don’t know, this is a family hotel. There’s also a young man named Anwar who managed the counter. Should you need any help, don’t be shy to ask him. On the day I need to leave, I asked him to wake me up at 4am because I had a flight to catch. He really did call my phone to wake me up. I really appreciate the service. I definitely recommend to those who wants to book a room here. I assure you will find it better than most. (Ps: I didn’t take any photo as I thought that since I have experienced nothing negative, I don’t need to take any.)

The staff are all pleasant and helpful. As for the service, I put a plate asking for the room to be cleaned, but when I came back at noon, it was still not cleaned. The balcony of the Jr suite room was very large and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very delicious. However, alcohol is not served, so it is not suitable for those who want to drink alcohol during meals. Overall satisfied as a 4 star hotel.

After a few rough nights at a Soviet hotel, words can’t describe how happy I was to see this hotel. The male receptionist was very welcoming when I arrived as he let me check in a bit earlier after a train ride. The breakfast fulfilled my needs as they have fresh fruits, vegetables, yoghurt, eggs, coffee… no complaint. The guy working at the breakfast area was also very helpful. After I finished gym, I went up there. He immediately asked me if I needed water. It shows that he’s attentive. I felt happy staying there. The reason I booked it was the gym. As an active person, I need to work out on my travels. The gym is not fully equipped but it provides with the basics such as a treadmill, a bike and weights. Location wise, it’s not in the center of the tourist spot but it’s walking distance. It took me 15 min to get to Registan. Don’t worry though as Samarkand is pedestrian friendly.

On planning a recent trip along The Silk Road, we found most larger hotels in Samarqand already booked, so we settled on a rented apartment - which was absolutely awful. Imagine our delight when we stumbled upon the charming boutique Hotel Malika Prime, which was not only able to accommodate us almost immediately, but also arranged for a car and driver to help with our relocation. Our spacious and quiet room had the bonus of being located over the front door, so had a tiny balcony embraced by national flags, and boasted a view of the park across the street and the stunning Mausoleum of Emir Temur. While the beds tended to be hard, we found this to be a norm across Uzbekistan. Bathrooms were modern and had mostly reliable hot water. Just enough decor touches to remind us we were in Samarqand. Included breakfast was basic but so convenient. The whole hotel was as clean and tidy as a new pin; the shady rooftop terrace a great place to unwind with a cold beer; and at night it was possible to see both the gorgeously illuminated Gur Emir and the tops of the buildings in the Registan Ensemble. The location is wonderful - within walking distance of these big tourist sites, the entertaining bazaar, and a variety of restaurants. While the hotel is near a main thoroughfare, its leafy street is quiet and cool. Best of all? The friendly and ever-helpful front desk staff, who spoke fluent English and always had time for conversation.

The hotel is located on a beautiful, broad tree-lined boulevard. It is close to Registan (about 1.3 kms away, a 25 minute walk) and close to Gur-e-Emir (800 mts , 15 minutes walk). The hotel is new, about 2 years old. The rooms are large and done up in old European style. The service here is personal with the owner himself helping and serving customers. The hotel arranged guides for sigtseeing. The hotel does not have a restaurant except for buffet breakfast which is served on the 4th floor. One good feature of the hotel, which I liked was the facility of filling water in bottles, which reduce the consumption of PET water bottles.
