Super 8 by Wyndham San Angelo

The size of the room was just about the only benefit to the stay. There were roaches all over the place, the cleaning staff only stepped foot in my room to exchange towels and throw away beer bottles, bed sheets and other amenities weren’t replaced. There were holes in almost every wall, the bathtub was cracked on the bottom right where you need to stand to shower so water was just flooding through it, the bathroom fixtures weren’t seated properly so you could see straight into the wall, and watch the roaches come in and out of. Smoke alarm was removed and the wires were left hanging. Overall terrible stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Horrible. We couldn’t sleep from how much we were itching of bugs. If you stay here, I hope you love bugs because there were plenary of roaches. The door also didn’t close all the way at the bottom allowing more pests in. There was mold on the walls, stains in the shower and beds, the beds sheets had mystery stains, and the staff are unhelpful and unfriendly. DO NOT STAY HERE.

room didn’t have microwave, coffee maker, or hairdryer in room. they didn’t provide towels & the room was absolutely disgusting. they didn’t change the sheets after the guests before us left. hair was everywhere in shower & our fridge leaked all on carpet

Very disappointing. The hotel charges a $20 deposit, which is refundable only between 8 and 11 of the day of checkout. We had to leave early and therefore forfeited the deposit. The room was barely clean. There were 2 of us on the reservation and only one towel in the room. (Others available for a fee) There was broken glass outside the room. The ice machine was broken. The HVAC did not work. The coffee maker had no pot and no coffee was provided. The refrigerator was not plugged in and had mold on the inside of it. The property site listed breakfast, which was no longer available. The parking bumper had a bolt protruding up which caught the underside of the car and tore the baffle of our car. If this had been our first Super 8 experience, it would have been our last. As it is, we may try another Super 8 stay sometime as previous stays at Super 8s have been fine.

Super 8 and Wyndham should both be ashamed to have their names associated with this hotel. After I arrived for a one-night stay on Monday the 29th of November, 2021, the key did not work the first two times it was programed, and then when I finally got into the room, at mid-afternoon, it had not yet been made up. I left for a meeting (the reason I was in San Angelo) and, when I got back at 9pm, the room still had not been made up! I had to go to the front desk and ask for fresh linens and towels, and then make the bed myself when they were brought over. Meanwhile, I also found out the WiFi didn't work in the room. I guess I found out where NOT to ever stay again when in San Angelo! Lesson learned!

This hotel was horrible. Cockroaches in the room, paint peeling, bed was disgusting, fridge and microwave dod not qork, room smelled like pot, no batteries in remote ao n way to watch tv. We had to go buy our own pillows and blankets because we could not sleep on the sheets. It was supposed to be a 2 night stay but after the first night we went and found a new hotel and just took the loss on the money. Do not waste your time and money at this place!

This was the nastiest place I have ever staied. Yes it is budget friendly but that is it. The room was dirty. The guest hall smelt like 420 and mold. There was a drawing on the wall as we walked into the guest hall of a males... well lets just not go there. The pillow case had make-up on it. There was something on the table. The shower curtain was stained and when the shower got turned on there was black stuff that filled the tub. The coffee maker and the hairdryer did not work. The front desk would not answer when we called. And there were two "cash exchanges of criminal nature" in the parking lot in front of my family. To say the least this place needs to be shut down. It is bad when the surrounding businesses warn caution for this place. NEVER AGAIN. Super 8 should be embarassed to have this place associated with their name.
