One of the best stays I've had. I'm definitely staying again. My wife and son did not want to leave. Perfect location and things to do all around us including the alamo.

The Menger is a hotel with much character. The historic architecture, antique furniture and overall setting is amazing. It's like staying in a museum. The rooms a large and comfortable. The bar is cozy and friendly. 

I had a bit of a problem with the TV, and engineering was at my door almost as soon as I hung up the phone! 

I highly recommend it for business or leisure travel.

We loved the location, so close to river walk. We had an awesome time in the swimming pool,.
The only thing I didn't like is they charge for every day at parking lot. 

My daughter and I just stayed one night. It is super close to the Alamo and the river walk, which is why we chose it. It was very cute and comfortable.
