Il paese di San Cristobal è assolutamente da visitare. Molto carino e tipico, pieno di negozietti, locali e mercatini ambulanti caratteristici nella bella piazza principale. L'hotel è a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro, quindi ottima location. E' una sorta di eco-lodge molto curato, con belle camere, ottima colazione e un buon servizio. Lo consiglio vivamente!

A beautiful place with wonderful people. We spent here five days and enjoyed every detail of the team’s hospitality as well as the architecture. The restaurant is excellent as well. To conclude, very recommended, a wonderful place to relax and stay. Very kind people!

PERFECTION. If the world was run with the attention to detail shown at Hotel BO, the world would be a paradise to live in. The hotel is a gem. Aesthetic perfection across the lobby, dining room, garden and rooms. Even the playlist is perfect. The food is delicious and the service is so dedicated professional and with a smile. Value for money in July 2024 was excellent. In short, well done and keep it up! Only things that are not great but out of the hotel’s reach and are a problem across town are poor WiFi (bring a book and disconnect or download your movies before) and in some days of fiesta constant fireworks noise in the town.

What else can I say other than amazing! From the moment you walk in, it’s just stunning. The grounds are so nice and inviting. Staff was so accommodating and gave us fantastic restaurant recommendations. They even arranged airport transfers for us and day trips. The hotel restaurant was actually our best meal. Cannot find enough good things to say about Hotel Bo. A must stay in San Cristobal de las Casas.

With the street and building concept of the city of San Cristobal de las Casas, you would have hard to find this Hotel in the street without the help of a local guide… - BUT: Once you managed to find and pushed the door, you‘re in a 5 star oasis in the middle of the town, just 2 blocks away from the market & Co… All amenities you may dream of, fantastic rooms and suites, a VERY lovely inside-veranda and… A TOP RESTAURANT handled by, what I call it: A TOP CHIEF who would deserve a Michelin Star ! All in all, we were SO HAPPY to stay in this little jewel !

From the moment we arrived we knew it was a momentous mistake. There was an event going on in the restaurant the noise and we could hardly make ourselves heard to the Reception staff. We arrived in our room which was at the back of the hotel resembling motel style. The room was totally ill equipped ie lack of storage, no fridge/minibar and A/C which struggled. The room was very dark and only one side of the bed had a light switch. They could not provide us with an iron/ironing board and adequate complimentary water. Some of the sockets did not work and overall the wiring was questionable. Our travel agent had arranged for us to be picked up at 6 am and a breakfast box had been ordered as we had paid for breakfast but they did not open until 7am. At 6 am we could not raise the bellboy and everything was absolutely pitch black. There were no outside lights so we had to use our phone torch to light our path down the stairs with four suitcases!!! No help was offered by anyone at anytime. Useless.

Au premier contact tout est parfait : le cadre, le service, les chambres, rien à dire. Mais une fois la nuit tombée, quelle déception ! L’hôtel est bruyant, les chambres mal insonorisées, les clients circulent dans les parties communes en parlant comme s’ils étaient seuls et en plein jour à 2h du matin et l’hôtel ne prend aucune mesure pour sensibiliser leur clientèle au problème. Si vous souhaitez dormir la nuit, allez ailleurs !

El mejor hotel de San Cristobal. Buena ubicación, excelente servicio, MUY buenos detalles, como limpieza diario, servicio de turndown, excelente equipo de front desk, te prestan paraguas,etc. Muy buen spa, comida deli, excelentes camas.

We arrived at the hotel after 13 hours of traveling in Chiapas from the Jungle due to road closures along the way. Exhausted, we unloaded suitcases of 2 weeks of travel. We were greeted with the news that the hotel was undergoing repairs very early next morning due to the rain and we could go to a different, as our reservation was paid for in advance. The hotel was completely empty, other than our family. We asked if they could compensate us for the trouble of construction at 7am by giving us an additional room. We were 3 people in a small room with what they call queen beds, but are a bit larger than a twin, but not quiet a full in American standards, they didn't accept to give us an additional room. We chose to stay because we had unloaded everything and were exhausted, but frankly were surprised by the lack of generosity and hospitality. The front desk gentleman that attended us, Angel, was kind and receptive but said the upgrade was out of his hands. We were truly disappointed despite the nicely appointed room. I have not encountered this lack of generosity in a Mexican hotel before.
