Terrible hotel they gave us room 101 just on the street you have homeless peoples outside fighting screaming picking stuff from trash, the know it’s so loud and bad that they give you ear plugs, the aroma they choose is disgusting, no supervision guests are loud, area not safe don’t go there

Amazing experience, friendly staff and the room was impeccable! The beds were very comfortable, provided plenty of pillows and the lobby even had extra linens and a coffee bar to serve ourselves. The hotel has a charming vibe to it, very clean and the rooftop terrace was the cherry on too! Will definitely go back there.

First stay in a Sonder. Will look for the chain in other cities, because while small rooms it was clean, safe and boutique chic. Its location was perfect for walkability, and was just a block and a half from Michelan star tacos. Try to avoid rooms 101 and 202 from a street noise perspective

Terrible customer service, there isnt any! Had booked with ********** and they sent a second email to verify my information/check in. So apparently no humans on site. I had to complete upload of personal details etc. I then found a better deal on ********* and so i booked there, and cancelled ********** I did not receive any other emails so i knew something was up. Contacted sonder, ***** and sonder again and took over 2 hours of phone and chat before they finally were able to provide the proper assistance. The property was decent but the neighborhood was poor. I would not stay again due to the nightmare with getting the credentials to check in.

Awful, awful, awful. Don’t believe the good reviews, they must be shills. Only good thing is location, but that’s more than offset by the 2 blocks of homeless tents set up on the sidewalks with human feces everywhere. Check in is terrible and there’s no staff on site. Rooms tiny, as this place was a college dorm. Dirty and no closets, desk or place to plug electronics. I cannot urge you enough to stay away from this place, and probably the whole chain.

The Sonder proved to be a very pleasant stay it wasn’t gonna be louder than any other city. Sound machines are provided if necessary I did not use them. The staff was excellent and very helpful. The roof had a mini fridge and a grill I just need to provide your own spatula to flip your food. We ate up there most nights. It was a grocery store, a block away, including beer, and wine. There were homeless people there, but they were not a bother. I felt safe. I will go there next time I visit downtown San Diego.
