The carpet was not clean, the room smelled, the air conditioner sounded like a helicopter, and there was basically no breakfast, just bread.

The location is very convenient, close to SDSU, and plenty of great restaurants close by. The service is great and the room is spacious, we enjoyed our stay here.

The lobby, grounds and rooms were very clean. Even the laundry room was well maintained. Breakfast choices were typical but expansive. Front desk service was warm and helpful. Our pup enjoyed it too! We will stay here again when visiting our son at SDSU. Very convenient!

Cutest place to stay! Couldn’t tell how nice the place was until we arrived. Only stayed one night for a concert and would stay again! The breakfast was good too. Note: water temp would go back and forth from hot to cold in the shower & the AC took awhile to work.

Hotel is centrally located and only a 1 mile from SDSU. It’s an old hotel but it’s very very clean and the staff is very helpful. They found a room for me when the Hilton in Mission Valley hotel cancelled my room without notice. Lamplighter came through esp as a woman traveling alone with my daughter. I highly recommend this hotel!

I will absolutely be staying here again as I visit my daughter at SDSU over the next 4 years! The inn is just lovely. Super close to SDSU, but also very clean, a wonderful free breakfast every morning, a peaceful and well-maintained pool, inviting landscaping, a spacious room, a great restaurant/sports bar right across the street and very friendly staff. I felt very relaxed the whole time!

The employees were very accommodating. We impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms but the attention to the outside details! The Inn and rooms were so clean. The pool was well maintained and landscaped. The breakfast was delicious and the area was constantly stocked and cleaned. It was a beautiful Inn!

This hotel is well maintained and the pool area is clean. I had a very comfortable and clean room. It was in a nice location with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby…yet it was quiet at night. The breakfast is good and plentiful (albeit, it gets a bit busy in the morning). I will plan to stay here again when I am in the area.

Clean and nice hotel. Pool was clean with nice loungers under the shade of the trees. Towel service too. Breakfast bar was tasty with waffles, eggs and fresh fruit. Room was clean, comfortable bed and new shower. Check in and check out was fast and efficient.
